I'm sure he does but what he wants and what he thinks is achievable might not necessarily be one of the same.

Murty is quite big... On a serious note the lack of patience shown by many fans is truly scary.
-
In other words why did he let himself go (weight!) over the summer...not very professional.

Would be interesting if JP Saeijs could be tempted to League 1, as you say we are desperately short on numbers and quality but seems AP is on the case.
-
You're like a scratched record. It might not be fair but it is fact. AP will be looking at Bosmans and loans...just like the totalling football team could have. I only want to look forwards now and this thread is about AP so for me to bring the dutch duo into the equation was wrong.
-
No, not at all. Just a shame JP and MW struggled to grasp that concept.

Seems to be suggesting the 'Academy' graduates where promoted before they were ready and indicated they will be taking out of the firing line and replaced with players with more experience.

AP looking to appoint assistant and staff soon

LOL... Have to say I'm quietly confident all the parts of the jigsaw are coming together at last for SFC. AP and a solid support team, new players and a new owner who, on the face of it, seems to be a decent guy with a good approach. Hopefully a season of stability and progressive improvement once the -10 has been overcome. -
Is it April 1st? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5449180,00.html

Sums up how I see it also. PS skintsaint suggest you send your vid to AP pdq

No, you're right he is 'crap in the air' and 'lacks pace', as for his finishing that's poor as well. My apologies. He is a very poor singer though I'll give you that

Some of the comments on this thread about Saga's ability are mind blowing... He might not be putting a shift in when needed and he might not want to play in League 1 but to say he is 'rubbish' etc is just ridiculous. He needs a decent manager who can motivate him, simples. Saying that, if he doesn't want to be here then let him go but get some decent money in for him and free up the wages for someone who does want to be here. Be careful what you wish for though as AP has made it clear this team is short on experience and quality...both of which Saga has.

It was always going to be a close call if you'd beat Nineteen to this question so you win a Crackerjack Pencil. ...interesting question though as to where they will draw the line between paying and non-paying guests

Though it's disappointing that a seasoned pro has allowed himself to get this out of shape. Hopefully a solid few weeks of pre-season will get him back where he should be. Potentially a good signing, especially at this level.

Without doubt it will be Friday at 2pm....oh wait...

Hasn't ML stated that since first visiting in the Club in 08(?) he made his mind up that he wanted to get involved.
-
Considering all aspects then this is a pretty decent appointment. Slightly concerned with some of the rumours of his ego but maybe he's back down to earth now so onwards and upwards for SFC.

So, cutting to the chase, is it Strachan, or not?

Yes it's been a whole week since Wotte was given the elbow. I'd rather we took our time and got the right man rather than just rush into yet another short term appointment. Clearly things are going on behind the scenes and for once it's being done in a low key and professional manner.

Patience is a virtue......not normally a trait of SFC fans :smt024 -
Hopefully the new regime will mean an end to the ITKers, who, let's face it were clearly far from it. Of course there is a sense of urgency to get the new manager in place and without doubt this activity is going on behind the scenes and let's hope it stays that way. ML is a proven businessman of outstanding success and we have to trust that he and his team are going about this in the right manner. Let's get someone in but let's make sure it's the right person to help us going forwards. Another few days won't make any difference so all the worrying and agitating on here should be put to one side.

Unfortunately it's got nothing to do with earning your right in a footballing sense it's just a question of whether you have enough money behind you to compete at the given level. You've had a suger daddy that has enabled you to pay the likes of Crouch et al c£75K per week when clearly an attendance level of 19K can not sustain this in the long term. Football is in dire straits.

Trousers you kill me.

That would be my take on the situation too.
