  1. Is it April 1st? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5449180,00.html
  2. Sums up how I see it also. PS skintsaint suggest you send your vid to AP pdq
  3. No, you're right he is 'crap in the air' and 'lacks pace', as for his finishing that's poor as well. My apologies. He is a very poor singer though I'll give you that
  4. Some of the comments on this thread about Saga's ability are mind blowing... He might not be putting a shift in when needed and he might not want to play in League 1 but to say he is 'rubbish' etc is just ridiculous. He needs a decent manager who can motivate him, simples. Saying that, if he doesn't want to be here then let him go but get some decent money in for him and free up the wages for someone who does want to be here. Be careful what you wish for though as AP has made it clear this team is short on experience and quality...both of which Saga has.
  5. It was always going to be a close call if you'd beat Nineteen to this question so you win a Crackerjack Pencil. ...interesting question though as to where they will draw the line between paying and non-paying guests
  6. ........stalker
  7. Though it's disappointing that a seasoned pro has allowed himself to get this out of shape. Hopefully a solid few weeks of pre-season will get him back where he should be. Potentially a good signing, especially at this level.
  8. Without doubt it will be Friday at 2pm....oh wait...
  9. Hasn't ML stated that since first visiting in the Club in 08(?) he made his mind up that he wanted to get involved.
  10. Considering all aspects then this is a pretty decent appointment. Slightly concerned with some of the rumours of his ego but maybe he's back down to earth now so onwards and upwards for SFC.
  11. Yes it's been a whole week since Wotte was given the elbow. I'd rather we took our time and got the right man rather than just rush into yet another short term appointment. Clearly things are going on behind the scenes and for once it's being done in a low key and professional manner.
  12. Patience is a virtue......not normally a trait of SFC fans :smt024
  13. Hopefully the new regime will mean an end to the ITKers, who, let's face it were clearly far from it. Of course there is a sense of urgency to get the new manager in place and without doubt this activity is going on behind the scenes and let's hope it stays that way. ML is a proven businessman of outstanding success and we have to trust that he and his team are going about this in the right manner. Let's get someone in but let's make sure it's the right person to help us going forwards. Another few days won't make any difference so all the worrying and agitating on here should be put to one side.
  14. Unfortunately it's got nothing to do with earning your right in a footballing sense it's just a question of whether you have enough money behind you to compete at the given level. You've had a suger daddy that has enabled you to pay the likes of Crouch et al c£75K per week when clearly an attendance level of 19K can not sustain this in the long term. Football is in dire straits.
  15. Trousers you kill me.
  16. That would be my take on the situation too.
  17. He'll be the one on his PDA looking at http://www.tiresomeattentionseeker.com
  18. Agreed. It's time to move on.
  19. I only normally post in the Saints related forum so excuse me if this is in the wrong place or already posted but it is being reported (From WHTID and various other news sources) that John Hartson has testicular cancer which has spread to his brain. Awful news indeed.
  20. Lol he looks like he's in desperate need of a bloomin good pre-season
  21. That's almost the funniest post on the forum. Strangely coincidental that the vast majority with this so-called balanced view were supporters of a certain Chairman.
  22. How's your take-over coming along?
  23. His Pompey link is irrelevant but his performance there is not.
  24. The Club was going one way when Pearson took over and the momentum needed halting before it could be turned around and some semblance introduced that allowed for us to get out of trouble. I don't disagree with you quoting 'facts' but there were circumstances involved that the likes of yourself and TDD conveniently ignore because it doesn't suit your line of thinking.
