  1. Unfortunately as he has been quoted I can see the continuing childish comments of this certain poster. Many of course have placed him on ignore. Everyone enjoys some banter as it's part and parcel of footy but this ongoing and banal diatribe that is trotted out is the most tiresome and anally-retentive text that gets posted on this board. I don't recall ever seeing this poster comment on the topic of the thread but purely antagonising and attempting to get a rise out of fellow posters through abusive, sarcastic and petty name-calling. This thread comes to mind http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=10575
  2. Well judging by the way this thread has deteriorated and one or two other threads created today solely to antagonise I think your strange feeling may need the attention of someone from the medical profession I'm afraid.
  3. No I didn't think you were and I agree with what you're saying. Nick G has pointed out similar in his post following on from yours however I wasn't thinking specifically about his latest comments regarding the 'Connor' rally but we have seen similar from him a couple of weeks ago. Again I don't want to make an issue of something that isn't but if he just focusses on footy then that's all we can ask for in our hour of need.
  4. I didn't hear the interview in question and was not referring directly to what was or wasn't said last night but more to the other articles on the OS and in the Echo where he does seem to get drawn into commenting on these matters.
  5. Irrespective of whatever side of the lowe coin you are on I see little point in not giving Wotte every chance and all the support we can muster till the end of the season. You can define 'support' in which ever way applies to you. From a personal point of view I'd rather him only comment on the team, the opposition and on-the-pitch matters. Leave the politics to others.
  6. Could I make a polite request and ask that you don't 'quote' the oh-so-wittingly named self-confessed wind-up troll. He get's over-tired very easily, especially when it is half-term and makes it his remit to crash every thread with real side-splitting insults. Fortunately I don't have to read it due to the ignore facility (first and only time I have used it) and instead indulge in the more adult debate that takes place on the forum. Thanks
  7. I think you are probably right there TDD. It seems to be a given that Pearson was a dead man walking upon the return of Lowe and Wilde as I'm sure it was reported at the time that L&W called for a meeting with Crouch to make their displeasure at the appointment clear.
  8. I have to agree UP. Whilst I didn't always agree with TDD I did find thought provoking debate in his topics. I know he's taken a bit of stick from people, you know the normal 'troll' comments but I've never felt they were warranted. However just this last few days TDD seems to be, well, antagonistic and argumentative, just as you have said. Come back the old TDD.
  9. Whether this story is true or not remains to be seen but Lowe is alledgedly a good business man and as such he would/should realise that he is far better off having The Echo on his side rather than against him.
  10. In todays transfer climate that has to be considered a great buy for Stoke, something like 2.5m rising to 3.5m depending on maintaining Prem status I think.
  11. Are you stating that as fact? I think you'll find that if you offered the banks the option for us to maintain CCC status with all it's trappings and a couple of hundred k's more in the red or relegation, a 10 point reduction and the inevitable administration I think the answer will be quite obvious.
  12. Spot on there DD. Just a crying shame we didn't have him August - December.
  13. I doubt you have any, well not any that have dropped anyway. And as Plumstead has said in his post please don't bother with another childish post in riposte as you are now on ignore. Bye and back to sensible and structured debate with 'fans.
  14. Not at all my friend, just glad your were able to make the game and enjoyed your Saturday which is what it is all about. You've also confirmed that your sole purpose on this board is as a wind-up which is clearly demonstrated by your posting style. As they say it takes all sorts. Bertie Bassett is an All Sort. Sorry little 'man'.
  15. I'm calm thanks Mr Johnny, I am also fortunate not to have an inferiority complex. As as been pointed out by other posters it seems your attempt at humour with this thread is reflected by your side-splitting username. Oh how we all laughed (when we were 5 years of age). You may also wish to review the statistics provided by Arizona regarding your Messiah's performance ratio. Sorry little 'man'.
  16. Exactly but some will try and rewrite history if that suits their agenda. Well done Wotte and may it continue. Fingers firmly crossed. COYR
  17. The childish style of posting carries on. Your username is very apt. What a sorry little man.
  18. Editing peoples post to make your replies look better is perhaps playing a dangerous game JFP...
  19. His promise never to post again lasted about 5 hours. Broken promises eh
  20. And of course you are 100% correct however there is an element on here that think by attempting to belittle the lads efforts they are automatically dismissing the protest. Whilst I have no intention of attending it was clear from speaking with those that attended the last march and from posts made on this thread that there is a broad spectrum of ages supporinting this march which appears to be very representative of the fan base.
  21. I think you are perhaps being intentionally disengenious there. Is it relevant who organises the marches or is it more relevant the broad profile of those who actually attend?
  22. You seem to be even more vociferous than normal in your defence of MW here Johnny. IMHO the support that the team have received in the ground (where it counts) this year has been first class, despite the results and many performances. If people want to make a protest about how they feel the club is performing (and there could be few to argue that we are performing abysmally) then why not let them get on with it, why the digs? These protests are outside of the ground afterall. MW should be fully focussed on on-the-pitch matters and not get involved in club politics, his role is to get points, simple.
  23. Here's one for him as he is so fond of war analogies.....loose lips sink ships.....I'd rather he concentrated in getting results and not become a political mouthpiece.
  24. Termination of contracts can be very delicate matters with obvious repercussions if the correct procedures are not followed so I can understand the club not wanting to discuss this. However referencing the Daily Echo is quite incredulous. Whoever wrote that response on behalf of the Club was sadly lacking in direction from above.
