I'm not sure the fans can be held responsible DD as they didn't proxy their share holding to his cause. Unfortunately there are some figures who did and who have subsequently held their hands up and admitted they got it wrong. There was a huge momentum gathering due to discontent with the existing regime that 'anything other than Lowe' has got to be better. We are of course in danger of being in that very same position again....
-
Unfortunately it probably says more about the calibre of our playing staff than it does of any intentional strategic decision on Lowe's behalf. I guess you could have titled this thread 'Look At Me' as there numerous other threads of the same topic already running...and all generated by the same 'camp'. Sad really.

Not impressed with Wotte "Fans are very easy with their judgement"

lol the irony, your user name is? -
I've been quite vocal in voicing my concerns about James however I've read improved reports on here regarding him in the last few games which has been encouraging. I would certainly agree that he's been left pretty exposed by just about all the players that have had a go in the right midfield slot. I'm very surprised we haven't tried to reinforce in this area.

Nice post if not a little behind the times. Back to bed now, you've got school on Monday.

I think he can but it has to be to a foreign league (or something strange like that).

who ever decided to loan out saga should be put down
Greenridge replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
This must rank as one of the most reckless and irresponsible actions that the board has ever undertaken. Yes we have no money blah blah blah but you can be damn sure Barclays et al would rather have us in the CCC than League 1 -
Is Mr Wilde Gracing Us With His Presence Tomorrow
Greenridge replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Yes he's just been spotted leaving his home -
Guernsey or Jersey - ask Mike Wilde, it was his fault

Transfer activity seems to be gathering pace this afternoon including Giles Barnes from Derby to Fulham and James Harper possibly moving from Reading to Boro (implications for Surman?). The Prem activity seems to be hotting up as well, could be an 'interesting' last few days of the window. I think loans ('emergency') are still allowed after the window closes?

"I don't want anyone who isn't better than the players we have," Wotte said. At least he has a different strategy to JP....Pulis, Smith....

See post #207. NC is playing nicely at the moment but it will only be a matter of time before his true colours are shown.....just as they were in every other one of his alter ego's.

Firefighter as well I believe amongst others. The guy's a wind-up merchant and is easily identifiable as when backed into a corner he let's fly with personal attacks. We've seen it time and time again (DW's mother et al). Strangely he seems to do more harm than good to the pro-Lowe cause.

I would say there's a significant difference between a forum member voicing an opinion and a PR plant who has no real interest in the club other than to make polarised posts in favour of his 'employer'.

Terrible news. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

cough cough...Rory Delap

That's dreadful news. I don't mean this to come across the wrong way but can you reassure that this information is actual fact? I can't think of much worse than EC receiving a stack of emails when he's not suffering from this horrible illness. I hope you understand.

The fans are the reason no ones investing are they? You couldn't make it up.

I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before our forum resident technical tactician who was bullied at school by Adam's dad will tell us of Lallana's inability to play wide right, keeps coming inside, can't pass, doesn't work for the team (are you all still awake?) blah-de-blah. Of course he will quote his 5M swimming badge to endorse his view.

Is Leon Crouch racist? The Daily Echo "suggests" he is.

In that case I suggest you try http://www.getalife.com -

Are you being serious. Really. -
Sorry, I didn't explain myself very well. I used Surman and Lallana as examples but this concept would apply to any players i.e. we would be 'forced' into selling some player(s) to generate much needed cash.

With less than a week to run on the Transfer Window I doubt I'm the only one who is surprised that we still have the likes of Lallana and Surman on our books although there is time for that to change of course. I don't want to see them go but with our perilous financial position it appeared very likely that we would be forced into taking whatever we could get for these two to keep our creditors at bay. This, coupled with the signing of Saeijs, the change in Head Coach and impending new striker (ref Wotte) would indicate the message seems to be onwards and upwards yet the rumours of administration continue to hang over us and with apparent imminent effect. The above would suggest we are not anticipating a 10 point reduction anytime soon. What do you believe is the status / strategy of The Club right now? Are we on a sound enough financial footing that will allow us to push on to the end of the season with a serious effort to maintain our CCC status or do you think the Board have accepted administration is inevitable and therefore no point in selling of the company silver for that money to go straight into the coffers of Aviva et al. Or do you think the present Board are just treading water and awaiting some kind of takeover (Crouch etc)? I'm not sure I've expressed my thoughts very well with this post however the mixed messages I'm 'reading' from the activities of the club seem somewhat conflicting.....
