Sounds like he was quite annoyed today

It's like Groundhog again from 2008. Somehow we need to find another 'Nigel Pearson' who can come in, instill some confidence, orchestrate some cohesive tactics and reverse the alarming trend of the season. Who that is though I have no idea.
-
It's unusual for someone from Holland to have such a poor grasp of the English language. It's not a criticism but a fact and seems to compound his apparent lack of coaching / management skills.
-
That is a truly depressing read

Lowe's made plenty of mistakes to choose from but I agree. Not appointing Pearson may well be his biggest one yet.

Sorry fella but I don't buy that. 'No other options but to use the Academy lads' you say? Well today I make it only James and DMG (plus 22 year old Surman with 100+ first team games) from the Academy started the game. This team should not be in the bottom 3!
-
Totally agree. Not that long ago he was using the forum for his own benefit, maybe he could come on again and explain wtf he is doing about the situation the club is now in.
-
How about, why is there 3 threads on the same topic?
-
Would be interesting to hear the full facts behind this episode. I wonder how the Club will spin this one?
-
His position must be completely untenable now after this latest shambles. This is not a team of world-beaters but should easily be a solid mid-table outfit. What an embarassment.

Who ever said the art of debating was dead :smt014

I'm not a fan of his by any means but there's not point tearing into him due to his wages. His agent would have asked for it and we (the royal 'we') were prepared to pay it. We're the plonkers not him. The fact that he was personally targetted throught the Echo is pretty poor show on behalf of the Club - assuming that's where the leak came from.

I seem to recall some slightly strange wording on the OS article announcing the signing of Molyneaux. It read something like 'the ex-Everton player' which of course was true but not normally the turn of phrase you'd use in that scenario. Can't find the article on the OS now though. Maybe he did go somewhere between Everton and us?

Obviously you and Chez went to the game yesterday. Would be interested to hear your player ratings. Thanks.

It really irks to see a thread like this on a day where a bit of unity wouldn't go amiss and enjoying a much needed win but there you go. It could quite easily have been added to the existing thread on Cork in any case. Losing our best outfield player so far this season? yes I'd see that as a negative. He was not a centre half by choice either so comparing him to Size is not particularly relevant although of course he played in many positions which maybe indicates what JP thought of his importance to us. I'd rather have seen us not sign Gasmi / Pulis / Forecast etc etc and bung a few more bob towards Cork if that's what it needed to keep him. But we are where we are and let's hope we can build on this.

Yes a bit of an oxymoron I agree. KD made a great save just prior to our goal but I'll take a win whatever way it comes. Just think if we had a measley 4 home wins instead of 1..........
-
Listened to the same. Armstrong had KD as MOM closely followed by Holmes. He certainly felt we deserved the win. COYR.

With the exception of the odd post here and there this thread is akin to a bunch of kids arguing in a primary school playground. Painful to read.
-
Absolutely and I'm not trying to rubbish the guy before he even joins but on the face of it his credentials don't appear to be what we need right now. Time will tell.
-
Beggars can't be choosers but a 21 yr old who's had 5 clubs and a total of 12 career goals doesn't get me overly excited.

Molyneaux doesn't appeared to have received any OS coverage this week or get a mention in Jan's pre-match build-up article. Anyone have any updates on the fella?
-
According to Saga he's not played for two weeks but passed a fitness test (not 'match' fitness of course) on Monday and after 24 games of the full 90 minutes with Aalborg he's declared himself ready to go so don't think the above applies in this case.
-
Some mixed messages coming out of the OS regarding Saga. I agree he comes across very well in his interview however flipping over to Jan's article regarding the game he gives Saga a great build-up then say's 'I'm not sure if he'll be playing Saturday' (or words to that effect). Could be just the normal bluffing as has been pointed out. Let's wait and see I guess.
