  1. It's OK, Les has a long line of potential managers in his black box database. Succession planning.
  2. http://www.itv.com/news/2017-11-10/virgil-van-dijk-no-rush-for-kieran-tierney-to-leave-scottish-football/ #irony
  3. Be good if he can get back to the form he showed when first here and when at Bayern before he got Puel'd.
  4. You saw who we played in the first 11 games and who we have in our next 10 fixtures I take it?
  5. Our forwards certainly are.
  6. Quite how anyone can suggest Billic after the fare and performances he has been serving up at WHU is beyond me.
  7. The optimist in me says we are going to get absolutely hammered.
  8. What's that got to do with the him being 'out of his depth' in the Prem statement? Not many managers have not been sacked in their careers. I'm not advocating his permanent return but I'd be more than happy for him to temporarily replace MP.
  9. He had only two defeats in the 12 games leading up to his sacking. Yes, really out of his depth.
  10. JWP gets a bonus for playing which he splits 50:50 with MP. Win win.
  11. Similar to the supporters of Les.
  12. I think with the new ownership position along with the precarious standing of Reed then a caretaker-type appointment might be the way to go. If that is the case then I think Adkins would be a great option.
  13. That would leave Wreck-it Ralph to appoint the next manager. From the NHL.
  14. The ‘problem’ with firing Reed as well as MP is who does that leave to identify and appoint the next manager? Admittedly we have Doris the tea lady and she would probably make as good a selection as Reed has with the last two.
  15. Stephens only played as we had little or no other options. JWP was no better at the end of the season than the start, VvD only played half a season and was the same player when he got injured as when he started the season. Sims and McQueen hardly got a look-in the second half of the season.
  16. You keep going on about this but two wrongs don’t make a right. Neither Puel or Pelligrino have been good appointments.
  17. You wrote the same verbatim crud to a post of mine yesterday. It seems that in both cases your obsesssion with Puel is clouding your ability to read what is written before you copy and paste your response.
  18. It's his post Puel treatment rehab.
  19. Agree completely. He's a shadow of his form from last season.
  20. Nothing like the frequency of the past though Chez?
  21. The days of Bertrand and Cedric bombing up the wings seem distant memories. Or my hallucinations.
  22. Yes, I certainly didn't see him barking orders at the team to throw the anchor out after we scored but that's what we did. Must be in the team psyche and something that he, or someone else, needs to be working on.
  23. It's a combination of the two. I don't think anyone is under the illusion that we have a squad full of stars. We've been selling the family silverware year on year but the cupboard will soon be running dry on that strategy. Other than Lemina and VvD, maybe Bertrand and Soares, we won't have too many gems to sell. In saying that, and back to my original point, neither the current or last manager are getting the best out of the players they have at their disposal.
  24. That is a concern indeed.
