He was terrible for us, but shouldn't have been a surprise because he wasn't any good for arsenal. I remember an arsenal fan friend of mine telling me that he had the worse record of any premier player of the time, averaging 1 shot on target for every 11 shots made.

Some players were bought when we were in L1 to get us into the championship and weren't good enough for the Championship. Some players were bought to get us out of the Championship and into the Premier, but aren't good enough for the Premier. Our rapid ascent up the leagues means that we are having to get rid of players who aren't good enough after just a short time with the club, which may seem harsh, but has to be done. As we spend more and more on wages and transfers, it is only reasonable to expect to get rid of players without still having to shoulder the burden of their wages. Dickson is clearly not a premier league player. Many on here would say that Fox isn't premier standard either. I reckon I could name at least 4 or 5 others who have helped us rise through the leagues but aren't good enough now. We have to let them go, but we can't be responsible for their wages whilst they play elsewhere as we need those funds for replacements.

I've never heard of him. If he's any good it could be worth looking into. By January we could have injuries/loss of form/fatigue that need covering. I'm not adverse to loan signings, they can sometimes work out very well.
