  1. Passed the tapes outside the club earlier before I read the story. Blood's still on the pavement - quite a lot of it. Get well soon Dan.
  2. Fair summary to the thread. Too many people wanting a Pulis/Forecast/(insert your least favourite player's name here) to have a pop at, imo.
  3. But that's the point - he coped. Four years ago, at the age of 20 he was playing for Dorchester Town. Since then, he's gone up a league pretty much every season and has had to up his game each time. He's still young and is adapting and learning from older and wiser heads. Yes, he makes mistakes, but he does have potential to improve and hasn't reached his peak yet. Prem? Possibly not, time will tell. But he'll do a decent job in this league.
  4. This. Couldn't have put it better myself.
  5. Dear Fergie, your kids are getting a new arsehole today.
  6. Carving them open at the moment...
  7. Was originally on Orange and moved to O2 for a 'good deal'. Coverage was dreadful, 5 bars dropping to zero while stationary, calls cutting out, so went back to Orange. Think I'll try Vodafone - they used to have the best phone coverage for business. Another observation - I know people on PAYG deals that don't seem to get as good coverage, or text speed as an identical user on a contract. Anyone else notice that?
  8. Didn't have any problems until the merger with T-Mobile. Now the signal is flaky all the time.
  9. I'd forgotten these. I too enjoyed them in my teens. Didn't Legion of the Damned win some award in the sixties?

    Morgan

Wouldn't be surprised to see some 4-3-3 games this season with Cork, Hammond and Schneiderlin in the middle; de Ridder, Lambert and Lallana up front.
  11. Know what you mean. I look at all these wonderful tablets and am amazed at how far they've come and what they can do. But can I justify one as well as my laptop(s), desktop and smartphone? I guess won't know until I've used one for a time, BUT: Tablet or Season Ticket? Only one answer...
  12. So that's about, say, 50-65p in the pound immediately. Perhaps they would even have sold to Markus if he'd offered 4p in the pound for five years. In a way, the administrator did a similar deal to our Walcott settlement. £13m now, instead of spread out at £1-2m a year for the next 20 years. Cash up front - Aviva didn't come away much out of pocket.
  13. So, to get back on track - What's the latest from the High Court?
  14. Sarsaparilla - Absolutely disgusting Grapefruit Juice - see above
  15. Swede and Liver
  16. So you get up before you go to bed, have breakfast in the evening and start work 12.5 hours after you arrive at the office??
  17. Naturally. I'm just distracted by the need to keep hitting F5 on the 'new kit' page...
  18. Actually, I've read the article through again carefully. Darren Lewis has spun his quotes like a top - he's such an attention-seeking arse. So let me amend that - three out of three.
  19. Two out of three.
  20. That's the same clueless journo in the picture who gives it large as a Sky pundit, isn't it? And when did AOC play for the U21s?
  21. Two things: "We've got Harry Redknapp" and this: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/8327614.Just_two_hours_for_Markus_to_fall_in_love_with_Saints/ Is that really a man who's just in for the money?
  22. This home kit but with all white sleeves below the red cap?
  23. Are they changing to rugby? That ball's definitely egg shaped (view on a mobile).
  24. Seem to remember Lallana made his debut just before his 20th birthday, so too early to write him off yet.
  25. Laugh? What about this one: "The majority of quality freebies have already been long snapped up by rival clubs. Others do not fit Pompey’s wage structure." Now THAT'S what I call news.
