Are we contemplating Chambers as a striker now ? Seriously, I think lambert will still go as he has a quick football brain which is more important than pace, unless you know how to use it. And yes, Chambers was our best player today, and must have impressed Hodgson.

Not sure what game you watched, but Rodriquez has been poor. for weeks..he simply does not think quick enough. So we need two more offensive players in the summer

Rodriquez was terrible... Lambert made our clear cut chances which were not put away... Having said that, the one shining star today was Chambers... absolute class

Absolutely.. he did nothing wrong today.. MP just tried a high risk strategy in Ramirez... it did not work but that's not the reason we lost... miss too many chances when we are on top and they had the cutting edge, which we cannot afford as yet

Perhaps because he still has a lot to learn... and if he goes to Chelsea he will share LB role with Azpilicueta and possibly Cole. he won't be a guaranteed starter at Stamford Bridge for sure

No.. I think you are in the majority of the balanced fanbase.. I've never witnessed such an outburst of emotion over any game I can remember; and some posters on here think they should be picking the team every week.. its a joke. We have not witnessed such a great way of playing football ever before and we have one bad performance and all hell lets loose. We need to wake up and realise how lucky we are compared to three/four years ago.

I'm not sure we will get any clarity as to why we lost the game.. I watched it and the 11 on the pitch appeared to just go through the motions.. is there an MP factor to the whole team playing poorly ?.. for sure, there was little pressure applied without the ball which is key to our possession football. I don't agree that the team selection was the reason as we put out a decent enough side to beat Sunderland, but the performance was woeful.

Current form maybe not but his goals/assists is up there with the rest of our so-called International stars. Don't forget, we are talking England, not a top class International side.
