  1. We need to put a Saints store in Kenya.
  2. This. A goal is a goal. Worth just the same whether scored from "open play" or not.
  3. Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini spoke about Osvaldo today and had this to say:
  4. I watch a helluva lot of Serie A, and Astori is extremely overrated and extortionately over priced. I like Hector Moreno of Espanyol. Mexican international with 47 caps, won Espanyol's player of the season in 2011/12 under Poch. He'd be a step up on what we already have (Lovren aside).
  5. Last season when we played West Brom on TV (albeit a Monday night, not Sunday) they charged £15 in some parts of the ground. No reason why other clubs couldn't do the same for televised games. £35/40 for a ticket + beer/food/travel or £20/30 down the boozer? No brainer. If I didn't have an ST I'd be in the pub watching it for sure.
  6. 2,634 available as of now according to the online ticket site. That includes 19 available in block 43, 18 at the very bottom to the block 42 side and 1 random seat available in the middle of the block. I don't know whether or not it's been opened to home fans yet, but I've read West Ham have only taken an approx allocation of 2,000. Going to be another sub 30,000 attendance by the looks of things.
  7. This.
  8. Exactly the same thing happened to me. As you said, why aren't the restrictions in place online to only allow an adult STH to buy an adult ticket. I spent about 5 minutes on the phone protesting that the ticket was definitely for an under 17 and they'd be taking a form of ID to Anfield, but they were having none of it. The ticket office is a shambles in general, but I don't remember it always being like this. When David Luker was the TO manager, he was always very approachable and a good communication link between TO & fans. It's gone downhill a lot since he left.
  9. 2 adults going. Unrestricted view in block 122/123. £42 each, plus booking fee and a bit for postage. PM or email lee-r89@hotmail.com for details.

  11. Had planned on going, but won't be now. Should be a tenner and an absolute maximum of £15. Went to the Sheff Weds game last season, about 8K there and a dire atmosphere. Charge sensibly for this and you'd have seen about 20K IMO, with a healthy away following too.
  12. I think we can finish as high as 7th this season. We need to be turning draws at home to the likes of Sunderland into wins pretty quickly to make that happen though.
  13. The Frog & Parrott (formally the Old Fat Cat) is our football boozer. Can get very busy at times but the beer is reasonably priced and they're now serving Peroni on tap too which at £4.10 is the cheapest I've found it to date. Like the Red Lion & Platform Tavern which have already been mentioned, two of Southampton's finest pubs.
  14. Get into Norwich at 11. Weather looks good tomorrow - http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2641181 - will be lovely sat outside at the Compleat Angler by the riverside enjoying the sunshine.
  15. Exactly the sort of option we are missing. We badly lack pace in attacking areas.
  16. 695 Saints fans up there tonight. Superb effort.
  17. 2-0. Jay Rod.
  18. Yes I am reading it.
  19. @SouthamptonFC: 40: Ramírez close to scoring a deft second as he flicks Fox's low cross towards goal but it dips just the wrong side of the post. #saintsfc
