Agree with most of this. However I think we'll be signing players up to the end of August. I think we need a left back before the season starts, but can afford to wait for the correct players in the other positions.

He could well be a new Stuart Downing; time will tell. He never set the 1st division alight, was good in The Championship and average in his first year in the Premiership. It's understandable that people are getting annoyed; it feels like each day brings a new kick to the balls (so to speak!). However I can't believe that Katharina is the one kicking us in the balls. Hopefully the outgoings will stop shortly, and then we will start seeing players coming in that excite people. Next season will be tough, but hopefully we will steer clear of a relegation battle and can move on again. We all need to stick together and stick two fingers up to the rest of the Premiership.

I think this is the worse possibility. Another option is they have a figure they want to raise to clear debt; once we reach this the selling will stop. The other option is that we now have a policy of not stopping players leaving if they want to. With each player leaving will result in others wanting out as well. You might need drive and ambition to reach the stars but you also need a lot of money. Why we should expect someone to bankroll us to this extent I'm not sure. I Think we are in a very strong position as a club with lots of great players who will either be playing for us next year or replaced with money we will get for them.
