I have to prove the age of my under 11 son yet again, even though I supplied his birth certificate last season (which they took a copy of). I know they have a lot of customers to deal with, but their service is shoddy.

We always send someone down 5 minutes before half-time to get the beers in. Otherwise we would not get one. Unthinkable. Always stay at the end to clap the players off though.

He was poor at Millwall. He is getting his chances in the team since his injury but has not hit earlier form by a long shot.

He has been brilliant for us. If he had a bit more pace he would play for England. Like the great MLT, even when he is having a quiet game he can still win it for us with a special moment.

I have got my three tickets. I'm taken my 91 year old Nan and my 6 month old baby. Can't wait!

He was terrible against Millwall. He looked like he had lead boots on and spent the whole time he was on the pitch running 10 yards behind the play. I don't think he would get in our first 11 even when fully fit; but he is a good squad member and will get another chance before long.

Do people remember transfer windows of old when we were desperate for them to finish in case we lost players? Surely we are in a better place now even if we don't pull off a major signing.

I agree it has to be Schneiderlin he was brilliant. By far the best game I've seen him play for us. However he needs to put in more performances like this for us doubters to believe he is the real deal. One great game a season does not make him a Premiership star. Also SDR played well but I think the reason he did not get more votes is because of his crossing. I know we scored from one but there were more that went astray.

I was watching an old episode of Pointless on Dave or something the other day and he claimed his love for Southampton and his hurt about them being in Division 3 (it was a few years old). Not something you can change is it?

OK I get your point but we have only played 4 games. We signed Lambert and Fonte when we were in League 1, and I think I read somewhere we have received £12m for some player from last year. If we can't get better than why do't we stick with what we have? We have been brilliant so far this year, but this is no reason not to try and improve. We don't need more squad players.

My own moan about Adkins is that in nearly a year in charge only one of his signings can get into the first team. If we sign these two I think this will still be the case.

Agree. I love Barnard's desire and enthusiasm but he benefits greatly playing along side Lambert. He's all about getting a shot away and he never gets his head up and looks for a better option.

Why does The Echo love putting the boot into the club? Unlike most local newspapers they go looking for bad news stories.

Could he be one of our best signings ever? To get him on a free was an amazing bit of business. A brilliant defender. Very sad news and my thoughts are with his family. RIP.

Maybe we could bring in competition for Adkins? There are too many players that don't seem to have respect for him. Looks like we need to forget this season while Adkins finds a team that wants to play for him. Maybe next year......

Why can he not get us starting matches well? Not enough homework? Two matches in a row that we have started badly; he needs to sort this out.

Why can we only play well one half? Adkins needs to get them straight off the blocks, not giving every team a head start. All the rubbish I've read about plan B's on this site, makes me think that our Plan A needs a bit of work just now. Happy with win though, and going to have a few beers to celebrate.

I would drop Hammond and play Puncheon as an attacking midfield player with Dickson on the left. I know Puncheon in inconsistant, but he gets involved and can be dangerous.
