  1. Neck Tattoos Kids called Kyle, Dakota, Courtney, Keeley, Kane & Ryan.
  2. 5 year olds out playing at 9pm with baked bean juice smeared around their faces. People who don't bother wash
  3. Decent playgrounds for the kids. The more affluent areas don't get these "given" to them.
  4. Great story, I hope young Ben is on the mend. Well done to the players concerned. Just a thought, I assume the club had nothing to do with this, it would be nice, once Ben has recovered, for the parents to drop a thank-you note into the club, therefore making the club aware of what happened.
  5. Same for me, myself & my oldest son were £550 last year, number 2 son was U11 so free, this season I'll have to pay for him. I think last season over 11's were £150, so that £700 straight away without the prem weighting that undoubtedly will be added. More that about £900 & I'm out.
  6. Arguing over symantics, how long before this thread is locked?
  7. We leave our kids asleep in a safe environment every night, in their beds, in their own rooms, but I can honestly say we have NEVER left them unattended whilst going out on the lash. My kids are now 15 & 11 and we've only just started leaving my eldest "babysitting". The Mcanns were irresponsible, and to a certain degree culpable, and they are paying a high price for it, but if I was in their situation I'd be doing the same.
  8. "I am the like the guy next door and it is annoying for my Mrs, " Sounds like he's settled nicely, even picked up the coloquialisms.
  9. Sorry if this has been posted already, I did have a quick look, but found nothing. Billy Sharp has been busy collecting memorabilia to auction for the charity in his sons name. There are signed shirts etc, all a bit pricey for me, but it's for a good cause, so a bit of promotion won't do it any harm. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/lueyjacobsharpfoundation/m.html?item=270968263055&rt=nc&_trksid=p4340.l2562 Happy bidding.
  10. It's got to be the two Leeds games for me. I couldn't believe what I'd seen in either of them. The home match was our first as a newly promoted team & we ripped them apart. I wasn't expecting anything of the sort. The away match, they really should have mullered us, but a great goal from Lambo (with our one & only shot I think) & a legendary goalkeeping display from KD got us the points.
  11. I think cover is definitely a priority, sadly Bart isn't up to the job.
  12. I would assume he's congratulated the players & staff in private, not sure he really needs to make a public statement stating the obvious.
  13. I hope Lambo gets at least a friendly or two. If the likes of Nugent can get a cap, just about any championship striker should be entitled to a crack.
  14. RH is has always been my choice, but he'll get a hard time from the press if the "fans favourite" (or more accurately the presses favourite) doesn't get the job. I wonder if the press have been bigging up HR because they have more dirt on him, and are setting him up for a fall, and HR is aware of this & actually turned down any approach from the FA?
  15. yeesssssssssssssssss
  16. Has it been that long. As above, gone but not forgotten.
  17. The second of our 10 goal thrillers with them. I can remember that Moran & Wallace got hatricks, & Frankie, Frankie, Frankie, Frankie Woooorthington got one, but who scored the other goal?
  18. You'd get arrested.
  19. In tribute to Southampton's favourite son, who died 20 years ago today: Enjoy ladies & gentlemen.
  20. I've done some research & was nearly right: "In 1985, Argentine goalkeeper Nery Pumpido almost lost a finger in a freak training ground accident when he caught his wedding ring on a rogue nail on the crossbar". http://goalkeepersaredifferent.com/keeper/injuryframe.htm
  21. I think it was an Argentinian keeper, iirc he caught it on one of the hooks that the net hangs on. It was reading this that made me remove rings when I played.
  22. You beat me to it, this is what I was thinking as I was reading through.
  23. If he were to tell, he'd have to kill you.
  24. I could have phrased it better, when I typed "we" I meant the established fullbacks, not the team as a whole.
