  1. Since when were murders described a homocides in the UK?
  2. They just played Black Night as a tribute on Wave 105. It was a bit of an education for my colleague.
  3. Keyboard wizard of Deep Purple & Whitesnake, amongst others. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18864409 A true rock legend gone. Rip.
  4. We were unable to see it on Saturday, due to my sons absence from the country on a school trip, but he wanted to see it, so went to Fareham. It was about as exciting as I'd expected (although the bloke running in the mankini preceeding the torch kept my Mrs interested ), but the kids enjoyed seeing their bit of history. As an aside I'm happy say I saw 4 Saints shirts to 2 skates.
  5. My parents did one for their anniversary (also with Cameron), had to cancel & re-book 4 times, but when they finally got to do it, they really loved it, even my mum, who is afraid of heights.
  6. They've spent a few quid in the dressing room too. A mate of mine has been laying a very expensive tiled floor around their shiney new jacuzzi type bath.
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-18764244 The star of The Poseidon Adventure, The Dirty Dozen, Ice Station Zebra amongst others, but most importantly Airwolf, has died aged 95. Rip Ernest, aka Dominic Santini.
  8. Excellent. I'm fascinated by medical pics. You should start a new thread & invite others to post up intimate pictures. I'll add the piccy of the firm, slender, probe like thing that was inserted into my derriere, steady on, don't get to excited ........ especially in your condition. it was a colonosopy.
  9. This. My problem is my general level of fitness is now pretty poor & I've not been able to train because of an old knee injury, It may become a sponsored walk for me. My youngest nipper, told me that I have to run it otherwise "the skates will pick off the fat blokes at the back".
  10. Dunno, I just felt the urge to type it when the Spuds match was moved.
  11. Sh!t, Sh!t and thrice Sh!t.
  12. Get well doon old fella. Salads from here on.
  13. FFS I thought my sons wait of 16 week to see a spinal surgeon was long. My wife works at SGH, hours are being cut, posts not filled and inevitably corners are cut. The organisation is going to the dogs & the government are happy with that.
  14. Good for me though, I couldn't make the Saturday.

  17. That was a fantastic programme, it never fails to move me when you hear these old fella recounting their stories. It's a travesty that its taken 70 years for them to be recognised.
  18. 09/10 for me, purely because I got to take my youngest son to see Saints in a Wembley final, the eldest had been to Cardiff & seen England at Wembley, the JPT gave me the opportunity to redress the balance. I have to say though it's been a great 3 years. Leaving home before a match, full of confidence that we would win, was much better than the previouse couple of years when I often thought we'd do well to get a draw.
  19. Well done Corky. For god's sake don't get injured.
  20. Me too, although I'm away, not at a wedding. Oh FFS this could be another one I'll miss as I'm doing the GSR (if my legs heals so I can do some training).
  21. It's a woman, she lives near me.
  22. I think the logic behind the kit is to make it easy for all the newbies next season to identify the players, as the numbers & names will be much clearer than on a stripey background. Personally though, I'm not really fussed. I'll think I'll cope with the change & not have a breakdown over it, I've just checked & the world is still turning & the sun rose this morning. I support Saints, it's still Saints players wearing the shirts, still playing at St Mary's, still got the same manager etc etc. I won't buy one though, as I have an issue with chubby middle aged blokes wearing sports clothes for leisure, but that's one for a different thread, the kids will probably get theirs.
