The best saints perfotmance i've ever witnessed

& how slim he was. He hasn't always been a chubber:-) -
I wasn't overly impressed with him last night. He dropped 3 catches, kicked a couple straight to Wednesday players & managed to clatter his own defenders once or twice, all things that Kelvin gets chastised for. On the plus side he made some good saves, although I think KD would have made them, but he did managed to hold a couple that KD would have pushed away.

I used to park there, until they started clamping.

Didn't that guy assault Prescott, rather than apply the law/procedure?

Stopped listening when Mark & Lard departed (as someone else above). Tried several local radio stations, finally settling on Wave, you get a reasonable mix of music. In the last year I've taken an intense dislike to the untalented & unfunny bloke who does the breakfast show & have found Chris Evans on R2 to be pretty good. So the answer to your question is 44.

For me pleb isn't offensive, it was a word we used at school when taking the p!ss out of mates, as was trodlodyte. However in this context is was clearly meant as an insult coming from someone who considers himself "elite" to someone he considers "less worthy". His denial of using the word demonstrates this.

I always picture TDD as someone who doffs his cap & averts his eyes when someone whom he considers better than him walks past.

I was impressed by him today, I thought Fonte looked more assured alongside him, than he has recently with Hoover. I fully expected Fonte to be dropped in his favour, it looks a though Jos's injury may have done Fonte a favour.

We will then be derided as a one dimensional team who can only play hoof-ball.

League 1 goalkeeper. League 1 defenders. League 1 Puncheon.

For a L1 team we did pretty well last year. -
Dabbled a bit when a teenager, but was sh!t scared of my parents reaction if they'd found out (despite them both being smokers at the time), so never really took it up properly. Best decision I ever made. I never realised how much passive smoking affected me until I left home & would go back to visit the parents. My clothes stunk and I couldn't wear them again until they'd been washed & my eyes were stinging, stuff I'd got used to whilst living at home. Christ knows what it was doing to my lungs.

I think one or two posters are being deliberately obtuse to provoke a reaction. -
How am I getting on, absolute ballcocks! Started training at the start of April, one week in & I tore my calf muscle (didn't warm up ), it took 3 months until I could run again. Not a problem I thought, I've got a few months to get a reasonable distance under my belt, fully accepting I wouldn't be able to run it all. Then they scheduled the Spurs game in the afternoon of the big day. That's ok I thought, I can do the run in the morning & still be at SMS for 3pm. Then about 3 weeks ago it dawned on me, at best, I can currently run about 2 miles non-stop, I've got very little chance of completing 10 miles in a quick enough time to get recovered, changed, back from skateville, & climb the steps to row EE & still be able to get out of my seat at the end of the match. So after much consideration, I've transferred to the 5k on the previous day. I'm a lot more confident I'll get back for the Sunday afternoon match now & I reckon I'll be up to the distance. I am quite keen to keep it up though & will be in better shape to do 10 miles next year.

This. There's a drip right above my seat, it gives my kids no end of amusement to see their old man getting wet.

My son was 4 at the time, when I got home from work my wife told me that whilst she was watching it repeated over & over again, she realised he was copying it with his toys. She decided it was time to put The Tellytubbies back on.

Diddums! I find it hard to relate to modern footballers & their insufferable egos. Some of them are such delicate little flowers, who expect everything to be handed to them on a silver plater.

I doubt if he'll play for England again. Hodgeson said in todays mirror that he's been over-looked because he didn't want to be on the standby list for the Euros.

David Weir for me.

PMQT would be fun.

Love him, or loathe him, but Boris gave a great speech at the Athletes Parade. I'm not of his political persuasion, but I'd pay to see him doing stand-up, or after dinner speaking.

You're welcome
