  1. It should be remembered that Saviles family are also victims of this, in a different way of course. I can only applaud their actions and the dignified comments they've made. "(We) are deeply aware of the impact that the stone remaining there could have on the dignity and sanctity of the cemetery," a statement released on behalf of the family said. Out of respect to public opinion, to those who are buried there, and to those who tend their graves and visit there, we have decided to remove it."
  2.
  3. Maybe the OP is dyslexic. Pretty sure this is an open forum where we can debate all this good & bad about Saints, but be careful about taking the p!ss out of bad spelling & grammar. I did this on another forum, only to be pm'd by another poster telling me that the guy I was ridiculing was dyslexic & it took a lot of balls for him to post. I felt a bit of a *u**.
  4. Christ! not sure of the correct response or . Either way I'm sticking to HSB.
  5. I hope they can add a water taxi terminal, preferaby starting at Woodmill.
  6. Not quite done & dusted yet, final list to be confirmed next year, hopefully we'll be on it.
  7. I think he suffered a dead leg that wouldn't come round, IIRC the gash was a result of surgery, I think it went the entire length of his thigh.
  8. The best left back never to be capped for England, an absolute legend of a player IMHO. Wasn't he supposed to post on here, cunningly calling himself "Leftback"?
  9. I've heard this too, sometime ago. I haven't posted this before because I thought the source was a bit dodgy ie a ground worker & in my 27 years in the construction industry, I've yet to find a groundworker who's an expert in structures, however, he may have been right. It's not at all unusual for the Architect, Engineer or any other consultant used in the pre-contract stage to be novated across to the contractor.

  11. Ah.. ok. I read the white crosses as being the catering outlet locations, rather than sellers additional to them.
  12. According to the map, the outlet in the Family Section, isn't selling them.

    Torture

The police are treating it as a murder case now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-19843337 Very very sad.
  14. Possibly printed on the back of one of those 3quid posters.
  15. If nothing else, that is really quite creepy, even if entirely innocent.
  16. Personally I'm not too bothered where I get my programme from, but if the club have gone about dumping the sellers in the manner described then that is pretty low. I like to collect the progs & have one for every match I've been too, if I have to go to the Magastore for one I'll be sure to pay on my SFC credit card, thus earning myself a 10% discount. The timing of this is a bit awkward for me, as due to the ridiculous ko time on Sunday myself and oldest son will be arriving late due to his rugby match, but youngest son is being dropped off by mum to make his own way into the stadium. As he'll be arriving in good time, he is on programme purchasing duties, he will also be featured in this one, so it's doubly important he knows where to get one from.
  17. In see what you did there, very good.
  18. No idea about online companies, but we bought our first house through a conveyancer rather than a solicitor & saved ourselves a fortune. I have to say though it was a very simple transaction, the vendor was moving with her boyfriend & we were 1st timers.

    Torture

If he's innocent though & genuinely doesn't know here wear-abouts, will he just give any answer the police want, to stop the torture, thus sending them on a time wasting wildgoose chase? I agree, and as you said, the family are not to blame, you should be able to let your kids play unsupervised, but parents have to face reality, we do not live in Utopia & this sort of thing will happen from time to time. Our 11 (nearly 12) year old has to be in before dark. Paranoid, possibly, but hopefully sensible as well. Unfortunately, I cannot see this ending well.
  20. I guess that's one copy of Suited & Booted that won't get sold.
  21. The beauty of the Design & Build contract, or as we call them Build & Design.
  22. Unbelievable, glad to see the government has a firm grip on public funds, what 40million to us anyway. T0ssers.
  23. Many of mine have been listed above, but probably the most goose-bumpy I got was the tribute to Alan Ball.
  24. GET IN THERE!!!!! Tiger Woods, Muhammad Ali, Jack Nicklaus, Ronald Reagan, George Washington, Babe Ruth, General Custer, Geronimo, Brad & Angelina, George Foreman......Your Boys took one hell of a beating. That is all.
