  1. needed. beat yeovil and we keep our two points per game needed tally up, and we can forget about the walsall disaster. thats if we beat yeovil.
  2. topsy turvy day shaping up, glad to see saints winning, need to hold on to this game, we really need to get 3 points. couple more goals would be nice.
  3. I wonder if managers do too? I mean Dalek is obviously Glenn Hoddle in disguise after all
  4. shocking result, and obviously didn't expect to see too many positives on here. It now puts huge pressure on us to win our next two games.
  5. ITV and our fans are equally as baffling. Marriage made in heaven! surely an omen to victory
  6. i am trapped on the god awful island of boracay in the philippines with terrible internet speed. i need this to be on star sports in order to watch at a bar. i will be heading out in hope with my saints shirt anyway, but can anyone confirm or deny about star sports?
  7. Pretty much what i was thinking, minus swear words. its the early rounds of a cup game. I hope this is a joke. If not get a grip.
  8. Very well said. Shows you how much football has changed in the last 15 years really. I just hope these people want to go to get behind saints coz they hate man utd. Its the only justification I can think of.
  9. This thread should just be called 'HCDAJFU'. 18 days in to this month and nothing to report at all. Maybe a loan or 2 in feb?

    Cmfg!

Poor choice to come and live for an ex prem footballer I would say. Even Lineker had a mare in Japan, albeit mainly due to injuries. I don't know why they do it.
  11. Unbelievable that U-11s video, after 2 mins the whole place goes mad. The kids don't even seem bothered.
  12. Le God. You have outdone yourself with your nerding this time. Lets send this in to the FA and see if all league tables can be like this from now on. I salute you sir.
  13. We will have to install language options in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean at this rate. With all our new found glory hunting fans. Watch out Man Yoo.
  14. It's a touch feminine mr Abuse. Nice try though.
  15. Fantastic I felt immensely proud when telling my students about this result at school today, and showing them a picture of Barnard celebrating. I am not sure they comprehend League 1 though. But, very interested in when we play Man U. Keep the wheels on the bus rolling saints!
  16. It's weird to think that pretty much exactly the same players who were useless in august and september are now performing so admirably, and are so well backed. Except Chaplow these guys lost 3 on the spin didn't they. Football is fickle. I agree with the overriding sentiment on here that we should only purchase someone if he is a real gem. To be honest if that sort of player becomes available it doesnt really matter his position. It's good to have the competition. I wouldn't be totally surprised if we got no one in. A win in Oldham and I am sure no one will mind too much either way.
  17. Just seen the other thread at the bottom about this.
  18. Great result, and keeps the run going, but I wonder how Bart did? If anyone who went could let us know. Sometimes on here it seems people aren't sure about Davies or Bart. Did he do enough to get a league game, or do you think he will he just get the cup for the duration of this season?
  19. no pictures today and still getting database errors. meltdown. too many glory hunting saints fans i reckon.
  20. Everyone's positive response says it all really. Quality player, and glad he's going nowhere.
  21. It is incredibly dull at the moment. this gave me a glimmer of something interesting. It's a gag so good it could have been taken from the official saints site David (you don't do that in your spare time). The latest one about January saints player got a groan from me in the same manner this thread did.
  22. Tubbs is a local player for local teams, we'll have none of his trouble here!
  23. Like this thread. Internet bonding. Guided missile will be having kittens though. I was born in Winchester, but moved away after a couple of years. No Southampton based family or anything. Moved around the country as a kid. Settled in Derby at age 11 by which time I felt obliged to support Saints as the closest pro team to my birthplace. I loved footy so much that I even had a season ticket at the baseball ground for a year, but in this time always supported saints. As I got older I made it to plenty of matches and was privileged to watch our rapid descent, before moving to korea. The absolute lowpoint was when my heart was ripped out at pride park in the playoffs when I was in the saints end watching all my mates celebrate their undeserving penno victory in the playoffs. Always proud to support saints, and anyone who gives our own fans grief is surely mental?
  24. Oh no we won't. Pantomime esque. We should be beating Exeter and Daggers easily enough. If we can't then it would be a bit like Liverpool losing to Wolves. An absolute mare. Onwards and upwards saints.
