I don't accept Shaw will be off. The only way he or other key players would be sold will surely depend upon KL's long term commitment to the club or whether they want to leave, and that decision could be influenced by KL securing the services of MP to continue the good work. The foundations and structures within the club that yield the success we see on the pitch and is evidenced in our league position, have been contributed to by many and if the "Vision" remains the same and the "Journey" is to continue then future investment will be essential. I hope KL is in it for the long term which I believe will mean we keep our key players and add to the squad in the summer much as we did last summer.

In order of loathing: Skates Man U Spuds

IMHO we have good cover in the CB positions. Likely first choice pairing being Lovren & Maya but look beyond Fonte and Jos as both Jordan Turnbull and Jack Stephens are very assured. My concern is cover for Luke Shaw as the choice seems limited to Fox alone unless Clyne gets switched to LB and Chambers covers Clyne. So it would be LB and striker for me.

I don't really care where we finish. I'll enjoy some games, I'll be frustrated at others, I'll be over the moon at some results and frustrated and angry at others. This plus the fact that prospective targets agents looking to maximize their own commission will trot out the same BS that their client is attracting interest from top 5 EPL clubs.
