GON: ‘I was a Millwall fan as a kid, I used to love going to watch them, but as soon as you start playing you can no longer do that and it takes a big part of it away. ‘So I turned into a Pompey fan because I was there for so long and they treated me so well. ‘I didn’t really want to leave, so was always looking back at the results and sort of converted into a Pompey fan, so I’ll be down there as much as I can. This was when he was 36 and injured without a club for context.

Are there any examples of MB getting predictions correct in the past? Think someone shared he was first to mention Will Still?
-
if I recall correctly, the player did pull out on us at the very last moment?

RIP Andy

Didn’t make the cut but does appear on other betting sites at 12/1.

I don’t think Eckert is a real contender, just that we have confidence in him to hold the fort whilst we bide our time and make our decision. We have bottom of the league in administration this weekend and then don’t play again for 2 weeks. Ideally we get the next man in to make the most of that international break with the players that aren’t called up. There isn’t really an obvious candidate, which is concerning. Rohl should have been the man.

Nice to see Azaz finally getting his first goal contribution. Thought he put that on a plate for Scienza.

The first Blackburn goal wasn’t great keeping but in general I feel more confident with him in goal than Baz.

Definitely offside but what was Bazunu thinking?

That was Alan Nixon, was hilarious.

He’s from Portsmouth I think, is a United fan though but you can see some anti-Saints bias creep out.

Alex Crook, ladies and gentlemen.

Lyal Thomas seems to have decent sources at Saints to be fair. It’s encouraging to know Martin isn’t going to be the answer but the concern is championship experience.

Agree, timing is awful.

Meanwhile Bree is looking like the best RB in the league so far at Charlton. Agree it’s a bit wild we get rid of 2 RBs, bring in 2 and still end up playing Fraser there.

Unfortunately a Chris Wilder Sheffield United is going to be a tougher proposition than the league table suggests. Nonetheless, I do think we can win this. Last couple of games we have shown improvement and I’m hoping tonight is the night it all clicks at both ends. I’ve been to Sheffield United away a number of times and only seen us lose the once (league cup QF 2014). I’m going tonight and also to Derby on Saturday. Let’s hope away wins are like London buses… P.S. Danny Ings is nailed on to score isn’t he, it’s just what we do.

Big season for him with the World Cup next summer, let’s hope it’s not as serious as it looks.

Has to be us or Watford?
