Last time I looked that shop was still there, empty of course now and looking a bit run down - I don't think it's been open for about 30 years. Talking of old shops, was anyone a customer of Whites Tobacconists in London Road - the old bloke in there used to sell all kinds of weird and wonderful stuff before smoking became non-PC, we used to buy those oval Turkish fags and Sobranie Black Russians - not to mention those multi-coloured Sobranie woofters ones. (err Not Guilty:lol:) I notice that the place has still not been taken over by somebody else yet.

Being of a certain age, I used to love Ken's films. Edgy, controversial stuff like 'The Devils', 'The Music Lovers', 'Women in Love' - as well as gentler films like 'The Boyfriend'. Cinema should be like this, not the never-ending Hollywood dross we have to put up with these days. RIP Ken.

You don't have to wait for the old club to die before starting a new one - AFC Wimbledon didn't. The support you'd get right from the start might surprise you ' and I don't think you'd get as much vitriol from this end of the M27.

I see Walton's is referee in the match against Brighton on Saturday. I hope he has a better match than he did the last time he was referee here. (v. Leeds the season before last). The most inept performance I've ever seen - and from a Premier League referee too! Just hope he hasn't got something against us.

If you're still on reasonably good terms and everything is agreed you won't need solicitors at all. Get some papers from the court, fill them in (we filled ours in together), send them back to the court. Your divorce will come through, you both will have saved yourselves a packet, and will still be on good terms. I'm still friends with my ex - but everyone I know who's used a solicitor ends up hating their ex. The whole process doesn't have to be an acrimonious battle - just try to be grown up about it. Yes definitely. Opens and edits all (except Publisher) MS programs on Mac or PC - and can save as PDF's. Publisher's an awful program anyway.
