Would be a top signing. Proven championship midfielder, with desire to play for the club again. Also gives a nice balance to what we currently have.
Count me in with the 'thumbs up' brigade.
They've been very poor. We've been very good.
But it's on TV...
How many times have we been on TV this season? I can remember the Plymouth loss, and the Peterborough draw. Both less than stellar experiences.
We used to call them 're-incarnations'.
Used to build team of them... Ruud Gullit, Matthaus, M.Laudrup, Baresi. (Although that may've been CM95)
Those were the days
What a top signing he'd be. Doesn't he get in the Reading team, then?
Was wondering that whilst watching goals on sunday, just now.
Other names that I plucked out of thin air were Jay Spearing & Jake Livermore.
I love that his disguise is so good that we are discussing if it's him or not even when we have a picture!
Testing the water for sitting in the away end at the weekend? (A nice 'eff you' to Eddie Mitchell).
I accepted the draw with Hartlepool as long as we beat Swindon, so on that front, job done.
Stats-wise, Walsall have lost 9 at home already this season, and only Peterborough have conceded more at home in the whole league. 3pts is a must.
Great win today, lads. Won't be too many weekends when we'll make up +3 points on Brighton.
Bench sounded really strong at the start of play, and seemed to make a real impact on the game.
Bournemouth result was unfortunate, but a 10 man Orient did us a BIG favour at Huddersfield.
Good question. I'll just bullet all the one's I can think of....
Souness trialled about 10 players when he 1st joined.....Flo & Ostenstadt were just 2 of them. He may've had Pavel Kuka & Paulo Alves over too.
Seem to remember a big Hungarian defender a while ago too (Not Liptak).
Did we have Mark Fotheringham here under Burley?
We had a young Portugese winger a few years ago, and I can't for the life of me remember his name...
Watched him play for Poland just after he'd signed for us - Looked fantastic. Great dribbling, 2 footed, and scored a great goal - He just didn't do it for us.
