The stats at half time were 53% to us so Donnie were NOT controlling the football and I certainly did not have the impression that they did. Chaplow played well enough but I think that you are overrating his contribution.

News for all Saints fans to cheer in the Sunday Mirror

He did live in Winchester - played against him in quiz leagues for a few years. He is definitely a Saints fan. -
Whatever - but what the hell is it doing up there anyway?
-
I wouldn't let it bother you - its just the usual WUMs trying to provoke a reaction.
-
Except that we have a terrible record against bottom teams - Bristol City anyone? Doncaster Rovers anyone?

Is this normal behaviour by SFC for people buying hospitality packages?

i.e it is a grammar checker that is required - not a spell checker -
Congratulations Rickie - no-one deserves it more. Commiserations to Adam.

I can't imagine that they can afford to throw POUND coins

I thought that it was pretty well known now that he was sacked because Cortese found out that he had been talking to Newcastle.

I have been assured by Dune and his mates that there would be no worthwhile knock on benefits from his signing.

I'm glad he is not scouting for us! In common with most of our players he was poor for the first 40 minutes or so but IMHO our taking over control of midfield coincided with him being moved to the centre. He is not best served by being played wide right - he is definitely better in a freer more central role.

To be fair - he left them with the facilities they deserve

3 complete sitters. I point it out, not to have a go at AL but because of the Guly hate campaign. We dominated the 1 st half (58% possession, 7 shots to 3 etc) and that could not have been done with 2 alleged passengers. The second half statistics were a more even but that is because Ipswich upped their game.

This, This This and This again.

Surely one of the most pointless polls ever

Agree. We did not only get a draw because of him or because of Dan Harding who seems to be the other scapegoat. Neither of them was responsible for AL failing to score three very good opportunities and RL missing a chance identical to the one he scored with. Nor was it either of them who fell over leaving Scotland with the opportunity to loose off a shot. Not that I am having a go at either lallana, Lambert or Hoiveldt because these things happen. I thought that it was generally a good performance all over the park but we seemed to have brought some of Leeds' luck back with us.
-
Why? DeRidder set up two good crosses one of which SRL converted but apart from that did not do a lot. The game should have been won long before he came on. AL missed 3 very convertible chances and Guly had one good run through on goal but missed a difficult chance with the ball coming over his shoulder. Steve did not put in the defensive shift that Guly put in until he was subbed. Having said that it was the right substitution at the right time but I would not put him on ahead of Guly. He is most effective as an impact sub.

Oh yes we can. We created a plethora of chances, all but one of which were squandered. The stats at half time were monstrously in our favour so, no, a draw was not a FAIR result but it is what we got - just like our win on Saturday was not a FAIR result but it is what we got. Swings and Roundabouts.

That is crass. I will say no more.

I agree with this although I would prefer to see them as part of the Transatlantic Sessions - it is the cross fertilisation of musicians that makes them unique. Jim Moray and Mike McGoldrick are part of the house band but people like Spiers, Boden, Kate Rusby, Sartin, Martin Simpson amongst would bring a lot to the table. I find it almost unbelievable that someone like June Tabor has not been invited. (and I say that as a Celt). However, the fact that it is largely financed by Celtic TV stations has a lot to do with it.
