As I said on the other thread a little earlier, if I were an Everton fan I'd be reserving my implied superiority until I have evidence of tangible and quantifiable improvement. Forster and VvD have just signed new long term deals, so if you do "take" them you won't be seeing much change out of the reported investment. Meanwhile Saints will do what we always do. Stick to the succession plan, recruit smartly and enjoy taking anyone who comes knocking to the cleaners.

Amen! Wish you posted more often mate

Maybe you are shopping in a different market, and if you continue to pay massively over-inflated fees and wages than maybe 'world beaters' will come without European football as our manager seems to have done. Maybe your new owner might need to find more than 100 million quid, maybe he won't. One thing for certain is that nobody really knows because at the moment it's just a lot of hot air. If I were an Everton fan I'd be reserving my proclaimations of greatness and superiority until I'd actually seen tangible and quantifiable improvement, but each to their own. Whatever happens, good luck with it - I think you'll find most Saints fans genuinely got over Koeman leaving and turned the page several days ago.

I've had 4 different Arsenal supporting mates text me saying Long was brilliant. FOUR. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

I think Bournemouth deserve more respect than that

Wont break into the top 6. Probably won't finish any lower than 11th/12th. Thats pretty much in line with my expectations and i'm constantly surprised that anyone else's expectations were any higher...
-
Yeah you're right. No point being over- dramatic. Because most of the same squad that held a top 4 position for 5/6 of last season has had a dodgy start to the season they are definitely now of mid-table Championship ability.

Good shout. And we could probably have 3 less euro qualifying groups

Don't recall any reported issues when he and Vidic played together at Manure
-
So to put it simply, all we need to do is go out and buy at least 2 fullbacks who are stronger and quicker then every attacker they may or may not face this season? Makes you wonder why we haven't done that already...

/ Spurs employed the same tactic when they signed Lloris, they continued to play Freidel for a bit despite Lloris being a "better" keeper on paper. Forster is long term, but Boruc is established, more experienced in the Prem and it would send a message that he still has a big role to play.

Because Irene said so - and (s)he knows cos (s)he lives in his sock drawer

You regard someone playfully asking you whether you are a mate or a stalker as an "attack"? Wow.

Pre world cup I had a fiver on Fred for the golden boot at 30-1. Meh

I would have chosen Sterling to start over AL

Pochettino to Spurs was on the cards for 4 months before it was announced! My nan could have predicted it.

Yeah and it'll probably rain again later too. Life sucks doesn't it?

Not at all, just aim realistically.
