  1. I heard that Crew(e) are going to undercut them
  2. With the transfer window about to close, it will be a close shave
  3. FF, I rely on this site for my Saints news-fix and despite not posting much I visit several times a day. Genuine 'lurkers' like myself (20-odd posts in over 2 years FFS) rely on posters like yourself for snippets that we'd struggle to get anywhere else. If posters like yourself who are prepared to stick your neck out and take some flack become 'lurkers' too, then the value of this forum would diminish. I guess what I'm saying is for every member who pxsses you off, there's any number of 'silent' members who are grateful for your input.
  4. And Ian Branfoot collects trolleys in the car park
  5. Just had an email from my Albion mate. Hardly a glowing reference... "He is so frustrating. And small. Barely gets the ball over the first defender when taking corners, free kicks etc... Infact, the only thing I would miss about him is the tiny Cox song!"
  6. Anyone heard this? http://www.northstandchat.biz/showthread.php?t=156561 Don't know much about him bu the words 'passion' and 'commitment' both stood out to me!
  7. Agreed. I still hold some hope for Thomas. Let's not forget that the guy has been out injured for a very long time. I'm prepared to give him a couple more games to get up to speed before I start calling for him to be discarded.
  8. How about Kingsland = The "Don't Under" stand Itchen = The "Des Lynam Used to Present Grand" stand Chapel = The "Stand and Deliver, Your Money or Your Life" stand Northam = The "Don't Stand, Don't Stand, Don't Stand So Close to Me" stand ?
  9. Gasmi
  10. To be fair one there was also a lengthy stoppage while one of their lads was off the field with a head injury. He reappeared with a bandage (Terry Butcher-stylee)
  11. I hated 'The Championship' because of Matt Smith's presentation. His softly spoken introductions, little winks and lengthy dramatic pauses made it feel like he was continually trying to flirt with me. Nobody needs that. Though, on reflection, I also hated it because it was a bag of shxt.
  12. Yeah, apparently his mum's dead upset
  13. Agreed. Take the BBC website for example, the league 1 headline story ("O'Hanlon is ruled out until 2010") hasn't changed since 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon (and who outside of Milton Keynes even gave a shxt then?!) Saints fans everywhere are desperately hoping for news that reinforcements are on their way. We're used to decades of decent media coverage, but we've just got to used to the fact that we're outside of the 'rumour mill' thesedays.
  14. Free bees = free honey
  15. Gradel was on loan at Bournemouth a couple of seasons ago. He was only a young'un but definitely had ability and was pretty quick. Only problem was that he looked pretty lightweight, but hopefully he's beefed-up a bit in the last couple of years...
  16. Euell be off then
  17. Because it took him an average of 834 shots per goal and he robbed from nightclubs
  18. OS describes him as 'the popular 24 year old striker'. He was about as popular as mexican pigs.
  19. It's probably not Mike Ashley
  20. I really hope so. I'm not going to get carried away, but I have a real feeling of optimism today that I've not felt on a Sunday morning for a very long time. Saints have 6 points out of 6, spring is in the air and the sun is shining! The only way today can improve is seeing that lob-sided Skate crook's face when Manyew stick 6 past Spurs!
  21. I joined in with the "just a small town in Wales" chant at Ashton Gate the other week. I live in Bristol so was effectively insulting myself. Mind you, I managed to avoid shxgging any livestock...
  22. R5 - "How is the feeling around the club on a day-to-day basis Mark?" MW - "Everything is perfect"
