Personally I can't see it....but nothing surprises me in football anymore there were managers getting the chop this season in league one whose teams were in top six postions.

Bit early to tell until I've seen what we do transfer wise over the summer. Whatever I'm going to have low expectations Norwich lay 13th in the table and that's a successful season by all accounts.

Guly for me guy was everywhere today working his socks off. He looked really good when playing more central (after Hammond came off)

Fair play to him Nigel has been fantastic. Wasn't sure when he first came, wasn't sure he'd be able to carry it on in the championship............was totally (totally) wrong guy's a legend ...look forward to him out thinking Fergie, Wenger and Moyes next season

LOL of all the seasons to hand back you ST. Plenty of seasons over the years where you probably wouldn't have missed much but I doubt we will see a season this good again for many (many) years ....

I imagine the plan was ammended due to us doing better than (most of us) expected this season. Een if we fail to go up this season the plan is still very much on I would guess. I'm pretty sure that NC and NA aren't just going to give up and settle for mid table obscurity if we don't go up this season.

Except we wouldn't lose all our players and our manager. It's was a five year plan to get back to the PL and we are in year three. If we don't go up this season NCs not going to go "oh well bollix to it" sell our best players and let Nigel walk away. If, and it's a big if, someone came in with stupid money for Lambert or Lallana, like they did for Oxo last season, NC would probably sell and we have a big load of cash to strengthen the team with. The Idea that if we don't go up this season it's mid table in the championship is a nonesense as Reading have just proved......

It's hardly a myth it's in black and white on the bbc played 47, won 11, drawn 12 and lost 24 I think Scummer and Bearsy have probably given some credible reasons for our frenquent no shows on telly decent oppostion and strange kick off times.

Much as I agree with the sentaiment you could agrue the last three seasons have given us quite a few days to remember for the right reasons cup final, promotion and some cracking games (MK dons fight back, Norwich in the JPT, Blackpool in the FA cup spring to mind)

Thing is we don't see what goes on in trainning each week, nor are we privvy to Nigel and the coaching teams tactics talks. I'm willing to assume that if Nigel plays Guly over Cork or picks Butterfield over Richardson that is becuase Nigel thinks that is the best player for the job in that particular game. Modern football is a squad game best 11s are a thing of the past.
