What you don't think Fox will be out the door like a shot if spurs came calling? Plus I'm really hoping the club is already looking for new fullbacks (left and right) as that is our weakest postions IMO as to who I'll leave it up to the clubs scouting network.

Really? I'd be shocked if spurs couldn't do better in fact I'd bite spurs hand off if they wanted to pay money for Fox while his deadballs are pretty good he struggles to defend against even half decent championship wingers IMO.

Yep that has been pointed out...funny how the picture of our fans is all kids,scarves,flags and face paint and pompeys is a load of blokes giving it large....

Helps make the games more special as they don't come around to often....I suppose if we had to South coast games every season they might lose a bit of the fun (or maybe not). Still proper order in the universe has been restored with us back on top.....for what looks like some years to come.

The Nippers season is over to so I'm going from saints on a saturday (most of the time) and sons tyro games on a sunday to no football at all. No doubt I'll try and watch the euros on the telly...but international football doesn't bring the same excitment levels as club football for me.

Last match has to be at home so when pip Man U to the title on the final day we can have a big party...

As well as being a good footballer Rickie really does come across as just a really nice humble guy....you just can't help but like him. Hope he gets to score at Anfield (maybe after nut megging Gerrrad) reckon he'd love that.

I have no problem with free transfers if the club reckon they're good enough. A free transfer does tend to imply a player isn't wanted though and following that logic if someone is not good enough that a club want to keep him you have to wonder if they're the sort of player we should be looking at.

I Imagine so inflation means even average PL players are going for 4-5 million these days.

England managers in recent years have had a good knack of picking players regardless of their current form based ,it would seem, purely on their name and which club they play for. As much as we all love Rickie he has never kicked a ball in the PL the number of players called up to play for England in a major tournement from outside the top division must be a very small and exclusive club.

No chance....even if they finished top joint scorers in the PL next season they wouldn't be fashionable enough for the Press/FA/England fans to get a call up. Plus I rather they spent their efforts on saints....how f ucked off would we be If Rickie ,by some miracle, was called up for England friendly and then got injuried?

I'm not bothered (other than complaining about rickies goal scoring I stand by everything else I wrote on this thread)...but people complain about certain posters (we all know which ones) then they drag up their old threads.... personally I thinks it's better to let sleeping trolls lie rather than poke them with sticks. Personally If I'm right about something, not often granted, I can just quitely be chuffed about it. Only my wife feels the need to drag up old arguments to prove a point.....but hey what ever floats peoples boat.

The people who bump up old threads are the ones who turned out to be right so they can say "I told you so". I don't think I've seen to many old threads bumped up by people who were being numpties saying look what a prat I made of myself.
