So If I understand that correctly we should buy players cheap (say half a million) and then pay them more than anyone else in the league becuase they'll then play better......or something

He did say this season would be his last wants to get into coaching.....wouldn't be surprised if he end up somewhere in the youth coaching staff.

No Idea. I suppose they could recoup their 33 million back out of the PL money (what is it these days 60 million?) if they wanted to. The site below has last summers PL transfers http://www.betinf.com/england_transfer.htm The three newly promoted clubs spent around 10-12 million last summer on new signings I wouldn't have thought that would be unreasonable for us. Though I'm guessing that would be funded by the clubs new PL money rather than the owners own money. It should be noted that the top four spent citeh - 80 million Man U - 57 million Arsenal - 60 million spurs - 11 million Which is on top of the very good sides they already had.......

We're going to apply to join the SPL with rangers out the way a CL spot is a shoe in against all the crap teams up there.......

I'm I the only one who thinks we're more likely to be relegated in the next 5 years than be in the CL? I'm not saying we will be relegated it's just if I had to put money on one of those two outcomes being more likely I'd plump for relegation.......

Hasn't he consistantly out scored Grant Holt at every level they've played? That being the case I'll go for one more than what ever Grant Holt scores.

I have no idea if Antonio is good enough for the PL (I think we missed the chance to sign a player two seasons back that we could have improved ,the same way we have with Lambert, but wouldn't sign him now). My whole point is your arguement is nonsense Lambert (and Holt and probably loads of others If I could be bothered to look) shows that just becuase you haven't been signed up to a PL team at 22 your not good enough for the Pl are in fact a league one player at best. Not everyone in the PL is an Oxo or Walcott.
