Agree with this.......Have the police got this at the top their priority list right now??????? Are all rapes, violet robberies and burgleries solved in Southampton this month? These are the places that resources need to be targeted. On the other hand perhaps the government are right - Police are over manned and have too much time on their hands !!!!!!!! This all very dandy but what happens when we have Lambert in particular needing a rest, getting suspended, or injured - connelly cannot play that role and Guly would probably find it more difficult up front with him - I think we do need someone who can step in for RL and of course provide competition for RL.

Have to say Connely was indeed poor apart from the goal where all the work was done by a team mate though it was a tidy finish for sure......

Did no one see how awesome AL was today also......Whilst Chappers played superbly well with a ton of energy AL was a class above again - no coincidence we were so good today with him back.....And Guly up front of course....

This talks lots of sense - the only thing I would add is Guly and DC need a week or two's rest as they are off the pace mentally at the moment too....They both will not be right for Boro in any case and should be dropped.

SDR Played very well when he came on. However lots of hype about playing him from the start but when we did ala Watford he was very ordinary......However again he might be worth considering up front to start with Connely being so out of form......On the wing though - from the start - it doesn't seem to work. Three players badly need a few games out - Connely, De Prado (big time) and Cork to a lesser extent.....Ummmmm perhaps to a lesser degree Fonte after all Martin did play very well when he came on. I would play the out of form players against Palace and then rest them against Boro etc etc for a little while.....

This is total rubbish..... Guly's passing was woeful - which game were you watching??????????????????? He conceded the goal AND the sending off!! Way off the mark. We are supposed to be a passing team but Guly is not in that team............. Connely can only play in short bursts of games he then becomes invisible....two players whom need a long rest.....come on Nigel - your a great manager to bottle the obvious!

100% I'm afraid to say IF WE ARE GOING TO PLAY A PASSING GAME them Guly will NOT fit into this tactic at an absolute liability. gave away pass for the goal and sendinding off...........He has had time enough........It is not working with him in the team - now letting us down big time...........I'm patient but NOT THAT PATIENT!! That's by the best solution so far....................How rediculous. Football for me would be not worth watching under such a set up. Still won't have to cancel my Sky as don't and wont have it. This is a really odd post..........De Ridder is no where near up to the standard of this team ............Don't know what you are basing your evidence on. Poor against Watford and - well not dissimilar against Derby...........I am in the camp of thinking Nigel is great but his picking of a player's skill to sign is very suspect. In this respect AP was a hell of a lot better. Don't get me wrong NA is a far better manager but AP can analyse a players skill much better.

If a thread was to be started on this topic the it should have started on AL by far and away our most talented player and could easily play at international level...

Going on the Watford game he offered very little. He was always looking for the hole in the needle pass/through ball which is rarely on. His involvement with general play and build up was for me not up to speed with the rest of the team - not really affecting the game enough. My choice would be Holmes even on the right and cutting such is our method this year. De ridder isn't ready yet for me - at least not to start.....
