Ok, lets judge him on his time at QPR shall we......and that's under a manager who really rates him.....!!! How many minutes has he played in half a season???? He is not good enough for our team and clearly can't step up to the premier league so what with all the other reasons for not bringing him back there's another.....A league one player with an attitude problem - we are now looking for much more class than this for our 'going places' team....

This is just not true. Watch him closely - he stands in one place whilst the game goes on around him - he is a ball watcher. His shooting is terrible and he's not actually particularly pacy.............He is also disruptive so what is this clamour to bring him back? Yes we are short on the right but this guy is not the answer.........

Whilst it always a good rule in life to have forgiveness, he has had at least two or three chances and blown them, are we not kidding ourselves that another chance would be a good idea? Secondly is he really good enough? I have seen him on several occasions and to be honest he fletters to deceive. Not only that but he has smashed several of those large video screens and we can't afford any more....

Perfectly obvious - Fox loses possession with a long lump upfield 7 out of 10 times. Harding is a better team player and usually finds his man as well has a better attacking pressure than Fox...

Sorry but just what is 'long hopeful ball' Fox doing in our passing team. He really is way off our team needs and continually breaks down our possession ...

Astounding - The Echo loses the little tiny thread of credibility it had left now for me. If they are in touch with Southampton city in any way at all they will know that these two people represent no one but themselves, however our local paper persists in printing this garbage and calling it worthwhile news about Saints. That is a rediculous thing to say.......We don't have ANY back up at all not even a £1m player - that is the point. No one in their right mind expects us to spend £10m on a player for God's sake. We have no one in the Ressies or what ever they are called iether these days which is just rank bad planning ...........

This squad is too thin and there is currently no competition for places - never the less NA needs to wake one or two up and drop them. Have to say Butterfield seems a very good player to me and should play more of a part. Martin is capable and with more games would have the chance to improve further - he is very mobile... And Holmes-if fit and with Chappers out should slot in. Why we still haven't got anyone in reserve for the Centre Forward Pos is beyond me and most other fans I think. On the Adkins front - surely he needs to learn by the numerous experiments he has indulged in recently and get back to the tactics he knows the players know best with round holes in round players or what ever it is !!! As someone else said we have been a liitle Pardewesque lately with odd players, positions and tactics - ummm on reflection, Pardew had no tactics but that's another story.....

For Christ sake Ricky Lambert played at Bristol and we lost TWO bloody nil !!!! The RL excuse will not wash and is as is proved - a complete red herring...

Sorry but is NA just becoming a little convinced by his own success to date - I am detecting just a shade of arrogance in his very strange repetition that was clearly not working Bristol - Why repeat the same pointless exercise again with the three defensive stooges in Midfield?????? If you don't have an alternative then you should have, with our resources and the time we have had to bolster a squad which is patently thin. De Ridder cannot play from the start - I think we all know that now....Why do we play with one up front against bottom of the league - Don't care who you are that just isn't logical.....Too much tinkering with tactics - we should replace players with like for like......I think NA has to face up to a few tactical and personnel clangers recently and particularly away.......Yes yes yes before the happy clappies start on we all know we are top of the league and NA is God but even God does some things which confuse us..............

Good points, however to mention Puncheon in the same breath is not a worthy point, unless of course you are aluding to Puncheons prowess at hitting the Video screen a record number of times when in clear shooting opportunities. Guly is DC compared to Puncheon.

They are thick up there, always making trouble -time the Football League got to grips with them, made them play to an empty stadium - except for away supporters...

Come on, it's not as simple as this...........We lost central midfield because we had no outlet and drive.........Although Guly is better up front we need a player out on right who can do the wide job and we bring on a central midfielder...........Three players in that area - all similar who don't stretch the opposition with Lung busting runs...........It's as simple as that......

This is a weakness in the squad as Steve cannot start - he's not good enough.......We are weak in numbers/quality in the squad this is the problem..

It will not be just bench warming will it......Lambo will need a rest or he could injured too - we have no ready stand in for a game or three or for a quarter of a game even. Anyway who's to say this Cov lad won't force his way in at some stage as even Lambo has a drop in form now and then. Typical how football fans hype players up to massive level, to God like status - Lambo is not God and will need a decent guy waiting for his moment - always sooner than you think........
