Before the match I had been trying to think of positives about staying in the Championship: No VAR Matches closer to my home eg Oxford, Luton The opportunity for the likes of Dibling and Ballard to benefit from lower league fotball like Lallana and Schneidlein did when we were in lower leagues. I had a similar dilemma. Wife and I have season ticket so could buy tickets yesterday . Son lives in North Yorkshire is a member who has been to 14 matches this year (mostly away) and is eligible to buy at 9 30 tomorrow. We all want to sit together and planned to wait until tomorrow 9 30 to buy all our seats. That was the plan until this evening when we saw that all categories 1 and 2 have been sold and not many are left in 3. My wife and I bought our tickets this evening. Son will buy his at 9 30 tomorrow. Maybe more seats will be released tomorrow. Maybe they won't. Maybe the website will be robust and have no problems. Maybe it will not. My advice is to get tickets as soon as you can.

SOG is playing you lot like a fiddle and you fall for it every time. Look at this latest little episode. On Saturday this thread was not mentioning SOG. It was all about Eurovision and credit ratings. Cindy Lauper and body fat were other topics under discussion. Everything was quiet. On Monday there were no posts at all! Then on Tuesday SOG posts naming you and the other pricks...and you lot all jump (although to be fair to him Delldays // Batman //Alex hasn't yet posted). In little more than 48 hours the best part of another page has been added to this thread with you, Duckie, Turks and Hypo all jumping to his tune. It is unbelievable how you cannot see it. He loves being the centre of attention, he prods you and you all jump to his tune. It is quite hilarious.

Its part of the Populist playbook. Populists like Trump (Farage is also a great example of a populist) always find enemies to rant against. Divide and rule could almost be their motto.

Instead of a rant why not just admit that you have no idea of how several sectors of the economy but in particular the care sector would cope without high levels of immigration? I would have thought that the markets's reactions to Truss's budget when GBP almost hit parity to USD demonstrated how important the OBR is to the country's global economic credibility. Pethaps join the real world. Practical problems exist here rather than your macho hard man fantasy world where opponents are "soft arsed wokies".

Can someone please describe what this brave new world without immigration and where Governments don't have to bother with the restraints imposed by the OBR, looks like. In particular I wonder how the care sector operates.

An excellent weekly podcast to listen to on the subject of Ametican politics is The Rest of Politics - USA. It features onetime Trump Communications chielf Antony Scaramucci and BBC reporter Kitty Kay. Kay thinks that Trump will lose the popular vote but will win the Electoral college. "The Moosh" is confident that Biden will win. This week's vetsion is excellent on the subject of poltical funding.
