Good point. But their next game is at Arsenal. If they wait until after that game as well the new man has 7 games left and according to Redknapp teams on 23 points need 5 wins for safety. A tough task for a new manager.

You may not agree with the Adkins sacking and I do not but at least it happened well before the end of the season and there was a replacement lined up. Reading's decision to get rid of MacDermott with 9 games left and no immediate replacement looks odder by the day.

2 points from today: 1. I was interested to see how Coutinho played. He has been praised in Liverpool match reports I have read but today he was pretty anonymous. He scored their goal but otherwise did nothing all game. On that perfotrmance, I am not disappointed that we did not sign him. 2. Based on today' match, if you were to put a team together of the best performers, I doubt if many Liverpool players woud get into it. ie. Boruc was better than Jones, Clyne better than Johnson. etc etc Perhaps Gerard would get into the combined team at Ramirez's expense - but other than him it is difficut to see any Liverpool player who played better than his Southampton counterpart'

The thing is that despite what "the big boys" think of themselves, they are not particularly bright. MLG for example constantly runs rings round them. They have to hang round together because individally they are quite lacking.

Well stop and think really, really hard, read a few more threads , think a little bit harder and you never know, the names of a fewb negative posters may come to you. But you have to think realy, really hard.

Good questions and well put. I think you just have to accept that some very odd people post on here. They must lead rather dull lives but I suppose if they spend their time on here they are not doing damage somewhere else.
