This really interests me. I was born in Southampton & was taken to The Dell from the age of 5, but my Dad was born in Cambridgeshire & followed Leicester as a boy. He came out of the Navy & followed Saints as he watched them when he was not at sea. None of us live in Southampton any more. My lads, all born in Shropshire are Saints ST holders. My point is, is that it is not as simple as living in the same post code. I work in Manchester a lot & there are a good mix of Utd, City & Bolton. There are also a load of Scousers living & working in Manc..................... And ManUre fans moan amongst themselves about the amount of fans from outside of Manchester. Just try & use the M6 North on a match day!!!!! IMHO - It is linked to how successful a team is or was.

The proof of what he is saying will become very apparent when we line up at home against Wigan. I can see us going 4-3-3 (4-5-1) against Citeh away, but Wigan at home is a completely different game......................................

FWIW I think Harding is a better defender than Fox. You can't fault his effort, desire or commitment. Is he a Premier League player? Not sure, but for his effort alone in a Sains shirt he should be treated with respect by ALL Saints fans. I remember Carlisle away where he had a complete mare & I remember a the screamer he scored at SMS. He would leave with my best wishes & respect.

I reckon we might see Cork moved out there & Davis in the middle.......................so we can go 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 with more fluidity pushing Adam up with Jay Rod & Ricky. If you watched ManUre at their best Ronaldo, Rooney & Berbatov rotated constantly so that at any time one could would be upfront & the other 2 on either wing. I can see us trying to isolate full backs. Both Rickie & Jay Rod at the back post allowing others through the middle. That said, we desperately need some pace in the side.

Home kit is horrid....away kit is OK. Where did the red shorts come from?? No doubt I will buy it for the kids, but not at all impressed!!

As much as I think Lallana is top class, he does not have enough pace for Interntaional football IMHO. That said, Milner, Young & Rooney were total poo last night!!

Its an awesome City Rich. Shopping is great, food is great, most of the hotel's are at least OK & there is loads to do. Personally, I love Ellis Island. It cant quite imagine what it must of been like for most of those Migrants entering the US all those years ago. Chilling in Soho is also cool. Still got a bit of a Bohemian feel about the place. My 3 lads are desperate to go so think we might go 2013.

I see this from both sides. My nippers are well chuffed we are in the PL. We live in Shropshire & they dont see too many Saints fans or shirts on an average week. Now we are in the PL they get to mock Wolves fans who have been going on at them about being small time for a few years. At least these lads went to watch Wolves live. They know how to put down the glory supporters of ManUre etc as they have never been to a game in their lives. Now they want to tell everyone St Mary's is full every week & we are a bigger club than Wolves, Stoke, Blues, Baggies etc so all the comeback fans help them laud it a bit after following Saints in L1 & The Champ. That said I have enjoyed L1 & The Champ as much if not even more than the PL. Sure the players are better (& so are theyre ego's) in the PL, but we have had a great time. Oldham, Exeter & even losing at Carlisle or Walsall was brilliant & we would have not missed any of it for the world. I am no super fan or want accolades. I just think I will remember the last 3 seasons more than about 15 in the PL. I came back to Saints. When Lowe was incharge I only went to away games. You can criticise me as much as you want, but that man was a disgrace. As soon as we went into L1 I got another Season Ticket having let mine go after we left The Dell. Saints needed me then so I made sure I gave back for all that they had given me. Now football is about lads, dads & grandads spending time together watching footie, talking crap & generally being silly. TBH I dont care what league its in....................

At last!!! Renewed!! 30 minutes on the phone & moved from block 16 which was family centre to Block 9. Thought I would give the side on seats a go. The new family centre did not appeal & was gonna stay put, but it was only £200 more to move to block 9 for me, 2 nippers & my dad. Cant wait now!! COYR!!

I despise that woman!! She talks absolute rubbish. She does not listen to anyone & tries to talk over them, but best of all she is as thick as ****!! Cant trust any of them!!

Problem is, is that if we keep our current seats the cost goes from £720 to £1320. That is disgusting imho. Looks like block 20 is going to be our new home, but I bet a lot of us in 16 & 17 will be trying to move to 20 as wel.............

I was at Oldham when he scored his first goals for us & I turned to VFTT & said that he was way to good for L1. He was a key contirbutor to our success in the last 2 1/2 years & we should be very grateful for his efforts.
