As a matter of fact ... yes .... but the constraint was the Railway line etc If you compare St Mary's to the Dell, the West Stand was where all the main points were, including Offices, Directors Box etc ... with the sun coming from behind By comparison, at St Mary's ... that should have been The Kingsland Stand In hindsight, the Chapel SHOULD have been the NEW Milton Road End, IMHO ( with the sun coming from behind Saints could have then defended that end in the first half (as now), but the difference being, the "Northam" Roar would have been there for Saints to play to in the second half:cool:

( at the GOAL) Yeaterday you couls almost taste the DESPERATION of snatched shots, hurried shots etc ..... the very time you have to take e deep breath and create time for yourself ........ it's jut not ther ATM IMHO, Pardew should realise TWO Main things 1) In Division 3 ( now called Div 1) ... it's no use just playing nice pretty pretty football all the time ... because when you get to the opponents penalty area, there are at least four "no nonsense" 6 ft heavyweights, just ready to kick the bal/ and/ or player off the park 2) In Division 3 ) now called Div 1) ... the standard of refferreeing and linesmanship is absolutely Kr*p ..... and unless you get mown down by a sub-macine gun ...... the Referee aint gonna blow Life in this League is Kr*p, Dire, Brutal, and the Dregs ........ only Teams that adapt to it will get anywhere ....... it does not always mean playing football pays off .... regretably, as we have seen so far this season .... it certainly does not at the moment:cool:

Mind you, it is quite funny if you think about it Pardew gets the Team playing, we start on up the League .... then just as we reach a Play Off positions, all the Loan deals come to an end ..... and we lose half the Team ...

That's it ... I would have had no problem with NIL signings .... had it not been The Club that indicated arrivals.... THEY raised the expectation level, not us on here They should have kept quiet until the deals were done ... the fact that they wern't, ( for whatever the reason(s) ) leaves them looking rather daft IMHO ... completely against their previous policy
