My opinion is YES He stayed loyal hoping for a good start to the season It has NOT happened as he would have hoped, ie, we are STILL in the Relegation Zone, with no realistic chance of making the Top Six Therefore, he has to think of his future with a Club in a higher Division Bart seems to have got some of his confidence back, so I think they will move forward with him:)

My compliments to you Sir, you have a more placid way of criticising than I. My "passion" outbursts do not go down well with many on here Yet my underlining criticisms are broadfly in line with yours, mainly, with the Team that Pardew NOW has, we SHOULD be able to beat the likes of Bristol Rovers and Brighton at St Mary's As we speak, no matter what other posters think of my rants, Saints ARE still in the relegation Zone, and NOT looking a Team with Backbone:D

Sorry Mr Pardew, but I just have to say this Mr Pardew, Saints versus Brighton, that was Pathetic I have seen Saints Teams in their old Third Division days play better than YOUR lack lustre lot did against Brighton Brighton "Wanted" it, Saints did not Where was the FOOTBALL Mr Pardew. With Bristol Rovers losing last night, they are in 6th spot, ELEVEN points ahead of Saints. All teams have all played the same no of matches Rovers are away to MK Dons on Saturday' So, IF Rovers lose again, they would stay on 22 points. The next two are on 21 points, so they can end up on 24 points. If the Saints do the Biz at Orient, we would be only TEN points from 6th spot The DREAM could be getting closer.:cool:

Sorry my friend, but I honestly do not believe the players think that. I think the mindset that Pardew is instilling the Team with is a WINNING MENTALITY one ....... sadly lacking for far too long As I said in an earlier post, the Team will reach its own potential .... if they win enough matches, they will reach the play offs .... and if they don't, do you honestly believe that the players ambitions will be that they REMAIN in Div 1 ??? I think not:)

Very Very Good Point Consolidate in THIS League (Div 1) ??? What the hell for ???? If Pardew gets the Team playing well enough to get us in the play ofs THIS season ... what is wrong with that ??? If they are GOOD ENOUGH, they will get Promoted, if not they won't .. Simples To all those that say wait a season, ask yourself this ... HOW MANY of the Team that Pardew has assembled NOW, would want, by choice, ANOTHER season in Div 1 ..... NONE Most would all opt to leave, for teams in HIGHER Divisions.
