Almost as big as the one by which they are clinging to existance ???
-
Correct They will bend ANY and ALL of their stupid Rules to keep them going Perhaps Gordon Brown should take note, and let the Banks keep trading forever, whilst still being technically INSOLVENT:cool:
-
Doesn't make sense Pompey are in Court Weds, to submit a Financial Statement They then return to Court in March to defend the winding up petition from HM Govt By then, the NEXT round of the FA Cup will have taken place So Saints will NOT be in the FA Cup by default:D:cool:
-
Right Hmmm Over two legs I think we would shade it But if we met them in the actual Final, you would have to say Leeds would be favorites IMHO:mad:
-
Before Leeds v Carlisle, I would have gone for Leeds, but would not have l;ooked forward to meeting them in the Final Now, after Carlisle's last few fixtures, it looks as though we will have a real battle on our hands Winnable though:cool:l

If we DON'T make the playoffs this season, (and get Promoted), then, before we start thinking of NEXT season, you will have to work out what replacements we are likely to get, to take the place of those that WILL NOT WANT to be in Div 1 for another season:D

ST holders get Two tickets I believe ??? I'm in trouble because I have THREE Grandchildren who want to go Anybody know a solution ???

Spot on IMHO The reason of course is that Davis, having made the supreme sacrifice of declining to sit on the West Ham bench looking at Robert Green, had a "must play at all times if fit" clause put in his contract Irrespective of whether his form merits it or not Bart WAS playing well, and gaining confidence. He should NOT have been dropped. BAD Manager's decision IMHO:cool:
-
Including you my friend I think you will find that the general consensus is that at least TWO of their goals yesterday SHOULD have been stopped Davis HAS declined in ability this season. He cannot stop anything placed either side of him:cool: James did..... many times:D
-
Plus of course, If still in Div 1, we will need a few more players to replace those that will want to be in higher Division teams.
-
Davis is very lacking in stopping low shots either side ( 3 yesterday ?? ) To me, he never seems to narrow the angle enough, giving the forward more of the goal to aim for A few years ago, we brought Neimi back after injury, at the expense of Smith, who was playing well at the time. It took a long time before people accepted that Niemi was well past his sell by date, and was living on past glories ..... or what was written into his contract even .
-
Not only that, I hope the Stewards find that young Holligan thug ( circa 10 years ) who disobeyed the instruction NOT to run on the pitch I say bring back the Birch, put him on a boat to Oz, in chains Such behaviour must not be tolerated !!!!!!!!! PS Well done nipper, a moment you will never forget, If I could have lifted my walking stick high enough I would have done the same:rolleyes::smt052:eek:n

HE did, in the same way that our Ex Divot did In BOTH cases, they forgot to say it would be DOWNWARDS:cool:

The Prem/FA/FL, call it what you will, will NOT allow Portsmouth to "cease to exist" ALL Clubs who are in Big Trouble with HM Tax's have been given more time The "Owners" of Portsmouth are getiing just enough money, on a piecemeal basis, just to stave off being wound up I think that after a few more defeats, they will go into Admin, and then be "rescued" in the same manner as Saints were. ( Yes I know that they are further in debt than we were , BUT, they can literally start with a level playing field ) With thier debts written off, they can flatten Fratton, and build a Brand New Stadium I'm sure that is/was part of Gaymaks plans, and the reason he bought all the surrounding land

Nicola wants better League Results

If Pardew deliberately does not put out his strongest available side tonight, then he should refund circa 27000 Saints Fans IMHO -

As some players are ineligible for tonight, that will happen in any case We should NOT lose to a Div 1 side at St Mary's Losing against a (still) Prem team on Saturday would NOT be a surprise, though it would not be paletable to many on here. The LEAGUE is the most important Competition we are in THIS season, IMHO:cool: -

I could not agree more Nice as it is, they are THE reason why we will not now reach the Play Offs this season, and you can bet your bottom dollar, the Play Offs WERE the target for this season, that is why so many new players were brought in:cool: -

I expect Cortese thinks the same as me With the Players we now have, we SHOULD beat the likes of Colchester, Exeter, Brentford, Millwall, Orient etc etc The fact that Pardew's "myterious" tactics, or lack of them, has resulted in Many dropped points, and it is that fact that has prompted Cortese to criticise:cool: QUITE RIGHTLY SO, IMHO -
Really ??? Ask yourself this WHY has Leibherr/Cortese sanctioned so many purchases THIS season ??? Answer (IMHO) They were going for broke, ie Promotion THIS season Cortese's recent remarks echo that fact Many of the purchases are well above Div 1 standard, and that is why I say that if we do NOT get promotion this season, there will be an Exodus of players not wanting another season in Div 1 To me, the above is obvious, and I cannot understand those that do not see it that way Forget the contracts, those that want to go, will, simple as that:cool:
-
OK, Impressive , or is it How many WINS out of the 24 ???? We have dropped far too many points, especially at the start of the season, and, at the moment, the thoughts of JPT and FA Glory ARE detracting from what should be our MAIN priority GETTING OUT OF DIVISION 1 No brainer IMHO:cool:
