  1. You are assuming far too much For a start, NEXT season, if we are still in DIVISION ONE, How many of the current players will still be with us I have said before, and I'll say again, a lot of the current squad WILL NOT want another season in what is after all, the THIRD Division of English Football We have players that are of CCC standard, and they will want to go back there IMHO:cool:
  2. Quite right too, thoughthe upper class Tw*t cannot come down to the level of FANS Even now, in Portsmouths case, he , and the rest of the in bred FA Heirachy, will do everything they can think of to keep "one of theirs", ie , a Prem Club, form going to the wall Luton, Chester, and Bournemouth Fans must be SICK at how the Sweet FA conduct themselves
  3. We must all be gratefull that the Sweet FA found all of the above to be Fit and Proper people to run a Football Club Thank God none of them are crooks, fraudsters, money launderers, profiteers, and that all have the Football Club as their No 1 priority The likes of Luton, Chester, Bournemouth etc etc must be seething, for what, in retrospect, were pitifuuly small transgressions by comparisons
  4. Though, unfortunately, none were from a Sidewinder missile:cool:
  5. I thought it was 20% of anything over £650K ???
  6. Anyone know how many Buckets have been collected so far ???:)
  7. Apparently, the Royal Oak are opening, but I don't know if they have Police OK ???
  8. The LAST thing that the Prem want is for one of "theirs" to go to the wall, so they, and others will do everything to keep them functioning until the end of the season What DOES annoy me is seeing one of their Sheikhs watching their matches There is no such thing as a Sheikh WITHOUT money, They will only act when they have taken over the "New" Portsmouth, after Admin, and with NO debt Sound familiar ???
  9. Other Clubs facing similar charges have been given more time, which is exactly what I expect to happen to Portsmouth
  10. Well done to you Don't even bother to consider what I said to be remotely within the realms of possibility then. No one knows what are in players contracts. They have all been "sold" the Club, which is fair enough, but what IF it goes T*ts Up ??? ( Just one capital word, I trust this assists ??? ):)
  11. Ask yourself this If we DO NOT get promoted THIS season, how many of our players, especially those "£1m" rated ones, are actually going to be at St Mary's for NEXT season, STILL in Div 1 ????? IMHO, NOT MANY:cool:
  12. "Sticks" to his opponent apparently :)
  13. Pardew is right IMHO I know we have drawn our "bitter rivals", but, in this instance, I do not care about the result, or the FA Cup MY PRIORITY IS THE LEAGUE because if we do NOT get into the play offs, and get promoted, most of the hard work done by Leibherr/Cortese/Pardew etc will go right out of the window, and Players will NOT want to be in DIVISION 1 for another season IMHO, Saints fans should realise that the battle to get into the play offs is FAR FAR greater than trying to bit our rivals down the road Drawing Portsmouth in the Cup was the worst thing that could have happened to us IMHO The driving ambition has to be PROMOTION, PROMOTION, PROMOTION:cool:
  14. IF true, how SICK is that ???? The son of Gadafi, the Libyan leader who welcomed back the Lockerbie bomber, alledgedly in talks to buy Portsmouth I assume it is with the blessing of Gordon Brown, because he Certainly had a hand in allowing the convicted bomber to fly back to Libya I expect, as per usual, the Sweet FA, the Football League, and the Premier League will also turn a blind eye to it, after of course, they have performed their in depth research as to whether Gadafi Jr is Fit Fior Purpose The whole English Premier League is sick The majority of players on the park are Foreign, a lot of Managers are Foreign, and a lot of Clubs are Foreign owned, mainly by people that use the Football Club to launder debts etc. ( just ask Liverpool and Man Utd ) As I've said before, the easiest job in Football is to manage the England Team, because there are not that many ENGLISH players to chose from in the Premier League, and the situation will only get worse RIP ENGLISH Football IMHO
  15. Without a doubt, completely SECONDARY The PLAYOFFS are 10000 times more important:cool:
  16. Not a cheap shot IMHO " There is no smoke without fire " OR, in his case " There is no optic without a bottle ":D
  17. What position is that then ??? The Distillers Bottle Collection Service ???
  18. The squad may be BIG in numbers, but it is NOT (strength in depth) Big in QUALITY Slowly but surely, Pardew is increasing the Quality IMHO Then, either now, or in May, he will offload those that are surplus to requirements Good strategy, you don't blow the bridge until everybody's across:D:)
  19. As I said earlier, there is no such thing as a Sheikh without a fortune They are NOT daft. Who in their right mind is going to put up circa £100M to make Portsmouth a viable concern again ???? NOBODY What they will do is ( or will try to do) is, go into Admin, which would mean all creditors would have to take the "Scraps" on offer When all that is done, they will be debt free, in the CCC, and can then rebuild I cannot see the likes of the FL / FA, would stand back and let what was once a great Club (Fratton used to hold 50000) go into oblivion What the FA / FL /PL SHOULD do is start to punish the people that run Clubs into the Financial abyss. All they ever seem to do is hand out points deductions, which only punish the Players and Supporters A small number of Pompey Fans hate Saints, and vice versa, but I know some genuine Pompey Fans who are very good people Whilst I want people like Gaymack, Mandaric, Storrie and Redknapp to be brought to book over their "alledged" dogy dealings, I for one do NOT want the FOOTBALL Team of Portsmouth be crucified by their action It is time that the Sweet FA started to bite the bullet, because Portsmouth's situation is just the Tip of the Iceberg IMHO:cool:
  20. Hmmm, I take your point(s) So, it's Plan B then ???? Put up a few guide arrows in the town, and make it Portsmouth's OFFICIAL open air Toilet:D:)
  21. They will go into admin, and the creditors will have to accept what is offerred. They will then be bought for peanuts They will then rebuild, under control of the Sheiks In other words, rebuild, with no debt, just like us NO ONE is going to invest in ANY Business that is currently £60 M + in the Red NO Sheik is without money, They are just not going to pour it down the drain at the moment Simples
  22. You are correct ......... I am convinced that there is something out there:)
  23. Are you sure re that scenario ? He WAS at Pompey when the alledged transgression(s) occured In the past, Clubs in the lower leagues whose Board members have been found to be guilty of transgressions, have seen their TEAM (S) have points deducted, resulting in Relegations etc The FA/FL are very good at punishing the SMALL Clubs, they NEVER punish "BIG" Clubs in the same Ratio IMHO IE £10 K to Man Utd is relative to Ferguson's Chewing Gum supply for one month:)
  24. "Smith" is the easiest option IMHO:)
  25. I'm glad you got to the bottom of that story !!!!!!!!!!
