Yep, but there's a world of difference between thinking Broja will never amount to anything / be the next Pele, and having a contrary view on this situation. The bottom line is people all see it differently, but having a different view to others does not amount to a lack of "serious thought and understanding" as per moonraker or make someone a "muppet" as per you.
-
I'm not sure that this is a subject where it helps to rubbish other people's views and give the message that you think that you're smarter than the average bear. It's a bloody serious issue and there's nowt wrong with people have differing views.

Indeed. If a scrap between Nato and Russia won't be conventional, pointing out how shit his conventional army would be in a such a scrap, is a pointless point.
-
A NFZ would massively change the picture on the ground but it won't happen, that much is clear. It won't happen primarily because Nato fear that any scrap won't be conventional. Indeed, if the Russian military was as useless some make out, surely there's nothing for Nato or the west to fear?
-
If Nato were satisfied that it'd be a conventional scrap, there'd have been a no fly zone by now.

I think it's necessary to distinguish between their military muscle and their military acumen. It's obvious from the damage they've caused all over Ukraine that they have tremendous military power, but their apparent lack of progress perhaps demonstrates a lack of tactical savvy. With that said, it is easy to forget though that Ukraine is a massive country - mainland Europe's largest - and nobody could realistically have expected Russia to have swallowed it up in this time.

Yep, although I've always liked Newcastle as a club, it's just that they've replaced a hideous owner with a more hideous one. Everton has always been a bit of a nothing club for me and I'd be quite happy to see them relegated.

Not unless the USA are on board with lifting sanctions, which is very unlikely. The timing of all of this is very interesting though.

What utter bollox. Bandera died 60 odd years ago and has got nothing to do with modern day Ukraine. We have statues of all sorts of people who have blood on their hands. By your bizarre approach, a statue of Cecil Rhodes, for example, suggests that we're inherently embedded with imperialism. Anyways, if the Ukrainian public choose to vote for a load of fascists it's got nothing to do with Russia and doesn't justify them smashing Ukraine to pieces. No properly tuned individual can justify what Putin is doing.

He's not just a young player doing well or in purple patch. Anyone who saw this lad play before he joined us could see a player big, fast, powerful, skilful, two good feet, great finish, good movement, great on the turn, etc. That's the signs of a decent player. He's then come into the Premier league and smashed it. If I were a city fan, I'd be as excited by signing this kid as Kane. In a couple of years Kane will be beyond his best or playing deeper, whereas Broja will still be improving. I appreciate that you'll disagree and advocate that A Armstrong would be a better option, but each to their own.
-
I saw your point that he was over rated and that was enough mate. You stated that the kid was less talented than Adam Armstrong and have continued to talk nonsense about him since then. We all misjudge players - I thought Jake Thompson was gonna be a superstar and he managed to look shit in the national league. We all get it wrong sometimes treacle.
-
Do you believe all the shit you post? Broja overrated. Behave.

Rain (....yeah I know)

How is Ireland's GDP double ours? Crazy.

Yep. Ukraine haven't got time for sanctions to bite and for Putin to possibly be ousted. On the last part, I think the answer is obvious. Our sanctions have been piss poor in comparison to almost everyone else who's sanctioned, so hardly likely that we'd announce military support if we've supplied it.
-
That's a lot of waffle mate. I'm none the wiser whether you feel that Putin should be able to dictate who joins other people's clubs.
