My issue, and the point of this thread, is Ralph's performance, his tactics, his in game management, his results. That's all shit and has nothing to do with how the rest of the club is run.

A few?!?! We've been rock bottom of the form table for 20 games. That's almost 2/3 of a season. It's not a rough patch, it's an epic slide. On the other point, you absolutely have to judge an employee on his individual performance. He's the first team manager / coach and is doing a poor job of it. The excuses are getting more ridiculous now.

This is a daft stance. If I have an employee who was once decent but who's not cutting it anymore, I don't cling onto them just in case the replacement is no better. A simple manager change may not make a positive difference, but we won't know unless we try but nobody is convincing me that after 15 points in 20 games, that Ralph can simply turn it around.

That's my recollection too. I've got it in my head that he said he wanted 20 players plus the kids. Don't get me wrong, he would have meant 20 good players, but a small squad is what he wanted and what he has.

In fact it's worse than that, we've been rock bottom since matchday 13. In all my time as a fan, I've honestly never heard so many excuses for a manager.

Yep. I really can't fathom what people think Ralph is a capable of doing to suddenly start getting results. There's been loads of posts on this thread over teh last couple of days from people saying give Ralph time, and unless I've overlooked it, not one person has said what they think will change.

Ralph has the same players at his disposal (plus Minamino) as he did when we were doing brilliantly. The only person who's to blame for them not performing as they once did is Ralph. The only person responsible for shit in game management and inability to alter tactics to our advantage is Ralph. He's become an impotent manager.

Devils advocate time. His contract is running down. Saints won't offer him what he thinks he's worth. Another club have indicated they'll sling him a mil or two as a signing on fee, plus Saints will have to pay a chunk as a loyalty payment on his transfer, then he gets another X thousand a week for a couple of years at least. Anyone can see that's tempting for the lad. The above, or something like it, may have been the case for a while. Our Danny might want it to happen, he's a hired gun after all. That would unsettle Danny, that's obvious, but I'm not sure why it'd destabilise the whole club. What we also don't know is what's preventing a move or new deal. It's a negotiation. Whether it's Danny being unrealistic, or the club, or a potential new club, or the agents, we don't know. What I do know is that I wouldn't be a twat and label Danny a twat cos it hasn't got sorted yet.

Paranoia, behave!! It appears to me that you're an existing member posting under a different name and you are, it's not a drama. If you really are new, welcome. On subject. You're essentially saying that the players need to be changed because Ralph' management and coaching of them means that he is is now getting poor results out of the very same players. How that becomes a player issue rather than a Ralph issue I can't fathom, and pointing to you're preferred evidence of the net spend table doesn't make your argument any better.
