Yep. Puel's style of football was dull, but he played to our strengths and weaknesses, ie coached and managed us properly. We'd never have lost 9-0 under him, and had a much better chance of clinging on to the lead yesterday.

Lazy comment. Barnes has been away from the game for years and tried/failed at management. Terry has only recently retired, and seemingly did very well at Villa. Your comment all but suggests that no player can ever transition from playing to management which is just wrong.

Although I see no wisdom in carrying on with Ralph, I'm not sure Howe is the answer. Some people have mentioned Terry. Instinct is that he'll make a very good manager and although it's a massive leap of faith, I'd rather roll the dice with him than face the inevitable with Ralph.

I'd play the same XI but with A Armstrong, S Armstrong, Tella in a 3 behind Adams. He won't go 4231 though, he's regimented in his failing 4222.

Yep. My position is the same as last season. He's a one trick pony. He sets teams up well. The opposition adapt to it. He has no idea what to do next. We lose. Giving him chance after chance isn't going to change anything.

If he's there as a 10 and comes on ahead of Stu Armstrong, Tella or even Moi, then something is wrong. If he comes on at RB ahead of KWP, something is wrong. Actually, having him there at all is wrong - he has a place on the bench of the Chelsea super kid.
