On that we agree. He doesn't look interested to me. Quite happy to see him go.

By who and to achieve what? All its done so far is cripple economies...who exactly is engineering that and why?

Del, you're making more of a fuss than the article does. Nobody is saying "just a few more months". We're opening up a bit more on 17 May, and then more 21 June. That's a few more weeks and there's no suggestion that'll be delayed. In that time groups 1-9 will be all jabbed up, and I'd suspect that all remaining people over 35, possibly younger, will have had their first jab. We'll be all systems go then. In the mean time, people will get on with life using common sense and discretion.

Behave. Someone isn't a "tosser" cos they say no to the pay that they're offered. It's Bertrand's job, and probably his last contract. We could be offering half his current wages, pay as you play, month to month, anything that he thinks unfair. That said, I wouldn't offer anything as he looks finished and disinterested to me, but don't be throwing the insults around when you don't know what's happening.

Absolutely this, there needs to be transparency, but that's only part of it for me. In VAR the focus is mostly on not wanting to undermine the ref hence the "clear and obvious" nonsense. If VAR remains, it should be on the basis that its used to get to the right decision.

Fair play to Chelsea, well deserved. It'll be an interesting final. Chelsea's back 3 against no strikers. It'll be like a game of chess.
-
Yep, Victims vs Victims, Saturday 815pm. In all seriousness, I'm glad justice has been done. The var system has been shown to be a complete farce. On field mistakes are tolerable without var, but not when var is there.

Mate, whatever you're smoking / drinking, give it up.

Indeed. I'd hate to guess how far short their issued numbers are from the reality. The crammed living in crammed conurbations, and the seemingly heightened risk to south asians, makes for a proper horror story. For them we can do very little. For ourselves, all we can do is tighten our borders and hopefully we can carry on easing ourselves back to normality.
-
Yep, they're in a mess and that mess will go well beyond its borders, whether that be variants, vaccines, medicines, medics, etc. As for their true infection / death numbers, we'll never know but their population to ours is roughly 20:1. On a rough adjustment, 400,000 cases a day is like us having 20,000 and 3,500 deaths a day is like us having 175. If the pictures we see are telling an accurate story, I'd imagine its a lot worse than that.

Wow, appalling decision if so. On the plus side, hopefully we'll get to see Salisu lcb.

Really?? Outrageous.

We're safe, but it's £2m a league place and we're skint so I doubt Ralph will throw the kids in.

Very sad news, 54 is no age. RIP.

No. The video you're referring to is of 1 guy being moved away from the crowd and being restrained by 3 coppers, and one of them coppers punch him to the body a few times. He didn't get a kicking from 3 coppers.

There's no "systematic and institutional bias" against us. People need to get a grip. Sure, loads of shit decisions have gone against us, but anyone who thinks that there's an agenda to give decisions to the big boys and shit on poor little Saints is nuts. Back to the game, they need the win desperately, and will get it. Not because we're victims, but because they're better than us.

Yep, he's looked good. As others have said, they've got a few lads I'd take. I like McNeil, and Tarkowski rather than Bednarek would be decent.
-
Yep, I'd go with that. It's hard to separate those 3. They've all over achieved with their squads, Moyes in particular.
-
You haven't got a quote because nobody has said that he's a "a managerial genius" or words to that effect.

What have female pundits added when you've heard them, or read what they've written? What do they know? Not enough about the level of football that they're doing the punditry for - female players haven't played football at the level or intensity that their male counterparts have played at. To have played at the level that you're a pundit for is a prerequisite for me.

I like him and he's not had the run he needs to get up to speed. I'd like to see him in the role Redmond has been playing up front but dropping off and linking up with the midfield. I think he'll offer more than Redmond does there.
