The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

But that footballer is apparently racist cos of his tweet / video re mendy. What iq level does one set the bar at to determine if he and/or Abbott are racist? Or is it different cos one of them is white and the other black? For me colour and intellect aren't factors, her comments are racist in nature and there's several of them. -

It's blatant racism, no discussion. -

Feck me, if this thread has become representative of how the remain masses think / act, the nation has/will become a desperate place. Apparently not a single racist could possibly have voted leave - I mean having a huge issue with non whites is exactly the same as having a huge issue with whites, right? Methinks xenophobia and racism have become fused. Ridiculous. Unless I've misread, one bloke has not invited leave voters to his wedding. Jesus wept, if that's the level of social apartheid that we have to expect as a result of a vote then we truly are in trouble. That's just two views over the last page of nonsense on here. They're both from a group of remainders who seek to suggest that brexiters are feral pack animals, whilst as a pack, turning on the few leave voters who dare to express a view. Absolutely pathetic hypocrisy at play. -
What's to "discuss about the whole consent thing"? Do you have a particular point from a particular case that you have an opinion on, and want to canvass opinion on? As has been said, another odd thread.
-
Thing is it hasn't, it's still the default position. Plus, many brexiteers will have you believe that they voted to leave deal or no deal. I find that hard to believe but the point should be tested. I voted leave, but no way did I want or anticipate a no deal car crash. Any further public vote should be on the best / final eu deal on the table that Parliament would endorse if the public do, or leave with no deal, or remain. All subject to a simple majority and on the basis that leaving is within a short finite period, say 3 months.

Smallbone hasn't been in the 1st team or u23 squads. Not sure if he's injured.
-
This is our best available team imo. Round pegs in round holes, an in form Ings, pace both sides of him. Spurs are on a bad run, dressing room appears in a mess, and Poch's head may well be in Madrid. We get something from the game.
-
He's on a good run of form and we look better with him at RB. Beautiful goal last night but no idea why he was at inside left!
-
Happy with that team. Our best back 4 and midfield, and pace up top. Glad Ralph is taking it seriously.

The question mark suggests it's a real question, and a valid one at that. You do not blood a player in a Premier league game in an alien position, then play arguably your best RB at LB. Your support for RH over this catastrophe is commendable, but I don't think the concencus is with you. He got it wrong, simple as that.

Yep, I've heard too many people whinge about having to change holiday plans as if it's the end of the world. Very selfish attitude imo. The sad reality is that thousands of people will lose their jobs which is a wee bit more of an issue than people having to re book flights and hotels. Re the price increases, its unfortunate opportunism but that's supply and demand for you.

It's a good plan if a player is suited to playing there. Other players are other players and how they perform in other positions has no relevance to Danso suitability to doing so. Danso looked like a fish up a tree at LB, even worse at RB. The point remains that you do not build a better back 4 by playing half of that defence out of position. I couldn't disagree more with your last point. There's no way that Danso being hung out to dry at RB, then shifted to CB then hauled off at half time will make him "better" in any way. It was appalling management by RH and won't have done young Danso any good whatsoever imo.

Jesus wept...it's one thing to have a guess how the weather / pitch may go, but to predict that after any postponement that their form "will" improve and ours will dip is daft. Unless the ball won't move on the pitch I reckon the game will go ahead. As someone said above, heavy rain will help keep fans off the streets and the police will be happy with that. If it goes ahead, it'll be an interesting game in these conditions, if there were odds for more sending offs than goals I'd fancy a bet. 1-0 to us and 2 reds.

Building a better defence does not involve playing a CB at RB and RB at LB. He got it horribly wrong on Fri, anyone could see that.
-
He's been on the bench so I'm guessing out of favour. That said, Cedric was superb on Saturday and on that form deserves his place.
-
Don't talk boll0cks. What makes you think that Bertrand will bs ostracised from the squad and told to train with the under 23's?
-
Yoshida has always been decent after a run of games. The problem is that he rarely gets a run of games. He and Bednarek are our best centre backs and should both play each week. As for Danso, he ain't a full back that's for sure. Whether he's a good enough centre back we don't yet know but hanging him out to dry at full back, then shifting him into a back 3, then dragging him off at half time was awful management and won't have done the lad's confidence any good.
-
Previous results do not mean he avoids criticism. Defensive selection has been shocking this season and has cost us. Any other manager would rightly be pulled up for selecting a RB at LB, a CB at RB, and leaving our best LB on the bench. In the previous game the selection of Djenepo at LWB was equally nuts. His selection last night cost us the game, pure and simple.
-
Yep. Our 2nd best RB at LB, our best LB on the bench, our new CB at RB and Vester fecking gard at CB. Crazy selection.
-
I think it's a Bertrand thing, not a Danso thing. Bertrand is out for whatever reason and Danso is deemed the best option.

Only he knows the motivation behind his blacking up, ie was it just naive dressing up? This whole thing is being judged subjectively by people based on the standards that society makes people feel that they must adopt in 2019, rather than the intention / motivation by Trudeau at the time and based on acceptable social standards of the time. To my mind he saw nothing wrong and meant no harm. In that point, I have a white friend with a mixed race wife and kids. He blacked up at a party a few years back. Naive, yes, but not racially motivated although someone seeing the pics would scream racism.

A car from ebay. Paid a PayPal deposit too. Was a shock in the morning.
