  1. I think that's it. We sign players who aren't PL ready yet, and won't get a work permit/visa, so send them to get kicked about a bit in Turkey while earning the points to get a work permit/visa. The bonus is that we've probably structured the deal to make it FFP friendly. This kid was wanted by Wolves for 18 mil so he won't be a sack of shite. Seems like decent business.
  2. Good work mate. I know a few people who've had my lumbar surgery (3,4 and 5 commonly go - mine have narrowed a tad but fortunately haven't herniated) and have had a great recovery. Good luck with whatever procedure you need. Shitty snacks are where I fall down from time to time. I have to be really disciplined if a tube of pringles or bag of haribos is around. Instead, I occasionally treat myself with fruit that I love but don't have every day such as cherries or dates, stuff like that.
  3. I didn't know that - thanks 👍🥚🍳
  4. Far too civilised for me Whitey. I'm a good old fashioned hens egg man, although a duck egg from time to is rather nice.
  5. Now your talking. That's the breakfast of champions for me.
  6. Sorry to hear about your mum, but it seems that you've taken her wise words on board. You and your family maintaining a decent diet ain't a bad legacy. You mentioned previously about ADHD and diet and at the time I didn't agree. As time goes by I'm encountering more adults diagnosed with ADHD and the common thing amongst them all is diet. All eat sugar by the tonne, all drink monster/red bull, all don't exercise. As much as I recognise ADHD as a genuine issue, I have to wonder if some people diagnosed with ADHD could actually point to diet as the reason for their poor focus and erratic nature. Give the eggs a go. Million different ways to eat them, and they contain all the protein and most of the nutrients you'll ever need. I go through a couple of dozen a week, and you'd be amazed how just 3 eggs can fill you and keep you going.
  7. I don't know about schools, but on the way to school, on the way home, at home, these kids are consuming monstrous amounts of sugary and ultra processed shit. Monster drinks, etc, should be banned.
  8. Yep. I live off the things, always have, hence the name. Eggs are one of natures finest gifts.
  9. Cheers. I have a lot of time for Eddie Abbew. He talks a lot of sense, and my diet ain't a million miles from his. Sugar, processed food, chemicals, are really messing with people's health and people absolutely need to wake up to what their doing to themselves and their kids. Eat clean, cook, move around more - it ain't complicated.
  10. Yep. Not a snowballs chance in hell that he'd rip that up to go play somewhere for significantly less money. Scandalous contract, but lovely if it's put in front of you to sign.
  11. Aye. What a player does is different to what we'd want them to do as fans.
  12. I play the posts not the posters Whelk.
  13. Retire with healthy knees and ten mil invested, or with knackered knees and 3 mil in the bank? Over simplified yes, but playing becomes insignificant if you can retire uber wealthy and healthy.
  14. Nah, they'll get a loan with a wage split between their club and the other club. Absolutely no point clinging on to a player you don't want/need and paying all his wages.
  15. That's daft even by your standards SoG.
  16. World of difference between thinking it would be good, and not appreciating what a disaster it would be.
  17. Trying to guess, with hindsight, why people voted to leave doesn't alter that leaving has been shite for our economy and labour market. I'm still waiting to see one single benefit from it.
  18. Err, you have realised that not all French strikers are the same? Henry was french. He was half decent. This lad may be a gem.
  19. Ha!! I sacked off the Ramsdale rumour the minute it started - he was never coming here. Not sure about this Biljow lad though. As good as he seems, that injury record is a concern.
  20. Not sure what you base that on. He's usually spot on, and about the only football journalist I take any interest in.
  21. We've used We are Robot. Brilliant covers band, wide repertoire and will tailor to what you want, but probably not the music you're after. https://www.instagram.com/wearerobot_band?igsh=amdyMWxuY2s0NHN6 https://www.instagram.com/reel/CuKr1faoh3S/?igsh=ZW85ZnN6dnkwZWhm Would be within your preferred budget.
  22. Thanks for the links mate 👍
  23. Gotcha, cheers 👍
  24. I thought it was just a lad on here saying that he suited our system?
  25. I'd imagine we may see Fernandes slightly left of a midfield 3, Lesley sitting deepest, and Downes slightly ahead as the right of the 3. Those 3, plus Smallbone Aribo and Lallana to come back give us loads of options. If Charley stays then that's yet another option.
