Things are being done nice and early this year, just as it should be. Obviously, the Club have realised the importance, at long last, of getting players in early and settling in over the summer. I have long advocated this.

Having said that, we need to get as many points as possible before Christmas before our form drops off.

Yes, I am sure that all our signings have been identified and will arrive as we planned. Next season will throw up new challenges for the club, combining European competition and a competitive Premier League programme. It will be fascinating to see how well we do and is sure to provide excitement and drama for all.

We need to spend about £40 million on some good quality players, you cannot stand still in the Premier League.

Agreed, if we do one thing early in the season that is to tie in Toby and Clyne. Then we MUST get in a really good keeper and a quick mobile striker !

Well, it is NOT a wind up, and I think you will find that many in football do concentrate on the Premier League for the reasons you have said. I have consistently said over the years that our number 1 target is to secure our Premier status as the reality is that all other competitions other than the European Championship, is largely a distraction at the least and at worst a financial disaster.

Fair enough, but we mustn't give up the punt for the pole.

We should maintain our Premier League status at all costs. The Europa league is a bit of a distraction as is the FA and League Cup. Provided we are 17th or above I will be happy.

Up until the end of January, Koeman. Since then it is more difficult to support RK. Stuart Pearson is worth a shout.
