He doesn't want all our hard work in the first half of the season to go down the pan because we don't have the depth, he said he wants to add real quality to the team to make sure we are promoted. I think we're going for it to be honest. Could be similar to the January window under Pardew a few years back, possibly not as many additions, but I reckon we'll see a signing that many don't expect.

He's got Chaplow, Hammond, Cork and Morgan in front of him. So not much chance unless we have lots of injuries. The cup is his best opportunity to make an impact and he is making an impact. He'll be a big player for us though in the future, no doubts about that.

Why would it reflect badly on NA? Pardew didn't rate him either. He is too injury prone and is not good enough for us, he's lost a yard or 2 as well. We're targeting players leagues better than him now.

Chaplow is probably 50/50 for the Leicester game, if he doesn't tweek himself again! Fonte should be back for Forest and Jaidi is back training, but I doubt we'll see him near the squad as Martin has kicked on now.

Seems to be some mixed messages over this. The Donny chairman said that it was £3m, yet talk sport and various other sources mention 1.8-£2m. Weird. Maybe they're paying that fee up front, with installments making up the 3m?

to be honest, IMO, from where we were at the time Lambert was a major signing for me. A massive statement of intent at the time.

Really good 2nd half. Sounded like a GK howler for the winner, but we pushed very hard in that 2nd half and made those opportunities with a pretty young team. We needed to end that losing run, and we have. We now go into the Forest game with a bit of a boost.

nah, this is the kid we signed from Plymouth. Think he's a bit older than 16 too. Luke Shaw is the guy everyone wants.
