that's silly though, pardew has said all along about bringing in a winning mentality at this football club - and you do not breed a winning mentality by slipping up in the first round of cup games. Winning a trophy is the best way to breed winners - there is no better way. At the end of the day - our league form dipped, but we still didn't lose many games at all. Just 2 defeats in 28 games i believe. i like what pardews tying to build and i think he's gone about it in the right way.

looks like you're now scraping the barrels for things to moan about alps. there's no thread started by glasgow saint, so you seem a bit lost. in answer to your question though - no. he set us out to win every game, and you cannot win cup games, league games etc with the same 11 players - there has to be some sort of rotation.

happy days - the perfect away performance, against the team top of the league and top of the form table. if we can beat Norwich so comfortably in their own back yard, then we can beat anyone in L1. - that has to give us so much belief. i still think the playoffs are too far off, so i'm just going to enjoy the games between now and the end of the season...let's see where we end up.
