He's a class player. If you watch him all game you can see his movement, his touches, his flicks - it all deserves a higher level. He's still not 100% fit...but it's just his quickness of thought which seems to bamboozle most defenders.

I'd rest Lambo/Morgan/Lallana and give Murty/Pato/Mellis/Papa some game time.

He's a young lad, so he's going to be prone to lapses of concentration and dips in form every now and then - it happens to everyone. He's had far more good games than bad games, put it that way - and he'll turn into a decent football league CB imo.

We should be out of this division in 2 seasons, if we're not something is wrong. Teams with a little bit of money at this level eventually get sustained success, we have that, leeds have that...leiecster had that etc... we need to show more ambition that just avoiding relegation too - mid-table (top half) would be ''ok'' for me, i'd love more - but that would be a decent season (between 8-12) if we just survive that means we've still been loosing lots of games, which doesn't bode well for the club at all, as the setup should be doing much better.

yeh i think that's a fair estimate tbh. hopefully we can go on a nice little run now, we've got some ''winnable'' games on the horrizon against teams currently in and around us (tranmere and wycombe are the next 2 home games), so we 'should' be out of the bottom in a few weeks.

James is still learning, he has ability and has improved massively since last season. the problem he has is his judgment and decision making, which is kinda what you expect from a young player. He's not been tracked by championship clubs by being a poor player. Eventually i can see him making a good defensive midfielder. KD is the best keeper in this league, most championship clubs would have him. I understand peoples criticisms of his lack of presence on corners, but TBH i think the guy has improved massively over the last 2 years for us and is playing with confidence again. I'd have no worry in having him keep goal for us in the championship when we get back.

I think saga has burned his bridges here, pard's confirmed as much in the echo - he'll never play for us again. Pato is still learning, he really should go out on loan IMO - it would be perfect for him, as he isn't good enough for us yet.

As per usual, if a player has a bad game or 2 - sack them, not good enough, wholesale changes needed. seriously, what's up with some of our fans. Do we honestly expect all 11 players to play well and win every week?
