-
ah lambert could have been through, but it got stuck in the mud

corner to wycombe
-
oh stfu will you, an utter bore.
-
at least this thread will go on for a while yet then!
-
. ah the good old 48 hours.
-
isn't there a further points punishment for clubs that have gone into admin twice? i think that's why bournemouth got -17 points.
-
they're in admin then. there is no way a takeover can be completed in the 2 full days they have left.
-
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5973437,00.html that would just be going from one bad situation, to an even worse one.

lol - what negotiations? storie said ''general terms all agreed, now awaiting proof of funds'' - no frantic negotiations needed there really, either a ''i have the funds'' or ''no i don't' - only stumbling block i can imagine is that he has one again found someone with no money. got tot take your hat off to him tbf - he's got a good record in that.
-
Apparently it's all ok, a fan has spoken to Aaron Mokoena who has told him that there are talks going on and that something should happen in the next few days. Excellent - I always knew the players had the inside gossip.
-
interesting - but i didn't think they could? as they're subject to a WUM it can only be the court who decide if they go into admin...i think?
-
This is starting to sound really dodgy. At the end of the day, if the interested party has the funds a deal is usually completed pretty swiftly with little headache. We should be well educated in that. Falkia and co faffed around for over 4 weeks and couldn't come up with the goods. Markus and his people then become involved and it was swift, professional and done correctly. - when people have the money, things happen.
-
they really are a deluded clueless bunch. i'm sure sasha asked him to take a 10% cut on all transfers too.
-
he's jumping ship, clearly doesn't want to be known to be involved with them anymore - which seems to have been initiated by reading the SOA (which i guess actually does demonstrate that they are insolvent) Skates seem to think this is a good thing, as it means the takeover will now go through....not sure i get their logic, if anything this sounds more alarm bells as to the future of this club.
-
It will be a test, but if we play anything like we have in the last 3 games, then really...wycome will struggle.
-
More classics from Storrie ''"The assets of this club are its players, their value in the transfer market, and there are some players whom we would value very highly. There is then the potential for 100,000 square foot of supermarket. You can imagine what that would be worth."''

brilliant...

It's going to be very tough, i'm not really focusing on the playoffs tbh - if we do make it, it will need to be a record breaking run of form from us. I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the season - it's nice to be able to kind of relax as a fan going into a run-in.
-
Tomorrow could be an interesting day, whatever happens!
-
If we play with the intensity that we have in the last 4 matches, then we'll have too much for Wycombe and the score could be anything we want. In the last couple of weeks we've started to regain that quality and 'punch' (exsue the pun ) that we have lacked since October through to December. According to Pard's comments, if the team won on Saturday (which it did!) - then it will stay the same for the next game.
-
the noises coming out of their forums at the moment, is that they're saved. announcement tomorrow apparently and the nutters who are taking them over will be investing substantial funds. (it's the south African consortium) if it's true, i don't get it, i really don't. Why do you spunk away the best part of £100m just to get Portsmouth stable? you'd then need to spend another 50-100m to have a competitive team and an infrastructure (i.e training ground) further up the country we have newcastle...massive club, 10x the size portsmouth will ever be, infrastructure is all there - available for about 60-70m. i can't get my head around what kind of nutter would even think of taking them over, let alone invest funds into it. jesus.

we'll be able to sing both next year
