should be there today, i have the tickets, but i've put my ****ing back out.
never mind.
anyway...good news on the davis front, pard's has said he should be ready to play again 8-9 days, and he's training again. that's healed quicker than we all thought it would!
He is only in football because of his dad, if his dad wasn't Tony Pulis he would be in a completely different profession, because let's face it - he cannot really play football.
seriously, no chance. hes never going to play again, he cant even walk properly at the moment!
as people have said, he's also taken a big insurance pay out - and he'd have clauses in that payout that states he cannot play professionally again, otherwise it's void.
It is a very sad story, he was the one player who i felt could do a similar job to Teddy Sherringham, he was a very intelligent player.
There was also another article about him on the sky sports site today, he's got to have another operation on his ankle because he still cannot even walk properly. - but he'll never be able to run or jog again, in his own words.
so sad.
for a moment, skim reading, i thought that said pardew in hospital...!
but yeh, that is a good article. - i like what he says about how he looks forward to training at the moment. sounds like it's a great place to me right now!
I agree, i still cannot believe it.
I'm also impressed with Cortese, who speaks with sense and realism.
TBH i did worry about his health when you first saw his pics back during the Ajax/millwall games - but he looks better these days.
