Do we have the option to buy trotman? He cannot give us a striaght answer...would be unfair on PNE, does sound that Pards is keen.
-
Pard's doesn't think that a DOF would be a bad thing at the club. He understands the logic of one, and he'd be prepared to work with one. Doesn't sound like it's a complete priority for NC at the mo though.
-
Nicola out!
-
Is it debt free? ''It's one of the few English clubs that is currently completely debt free''
-
Nicola said that it didn't seem like the administrators wanted them they kept pushing the swiss away and putting obstacles in the way.

Sounds like Fry ****ed about. They had the 500k ready to go in late may. All bank transfers agreed - but Fry called them and said that he'd given ''Pinaccle'' the exclusivity.
-
Adam was very close to joining PL Club - but AP sat down with him and said ''What do you want to do? Sit in the reserves for 2 seasons? Go out on loan?'' ''You have the chance to win a league title here, how brilliant would that be, this early in your career?''

on the OS - photos from saturday

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/playlive/bbc_radio_solent/ working for me.
-
thanks western - also confirmed by AP last week on the OS so sounds good.
-
+1 ****ed me off tbh too, people were trying to start the proper lambert song...but this just drowned it out. It's boring.
-
My MOTM too - thought he was everywhere, tackling, tracking back, accurately passing and seemed to drive us forward A real leader in the middle of the park, something we haven't had for a while. It's amazing that it's only taken pard's a couple of months to add the types of players we've been screaming out for over the last 3 years.
-
Pardew said on the OS last week - should be training within 3 weeks.
-
Trotman isn't slow tbf, he's quite quick for a CB.
-
The difference with Rooney was that he was playing PL football with everton, we couldn't give that to Theo and his advisers made that quite clear to him. If he came onto the scene when we were in the premiership, he'd have stayed IMO - but we were CCC, and bottom half CCC at that.
-
Absolutely I think it was Big sam who said he was the best header of a football he's ever worked with, can see why based on y'days efforts. I'm quite excited by his addition if im honest, he's still more than good enough to play top half championship when fully fit.
-
He keeps dropping deep in our home games, simply because he has to come and get the ball, our attacking play doesn't feed the ball to him (which it should do!) That's our only problem at the moment, Pard's has also acknowledged it which has put me at ease...we'll get it right, but at least he's still trying to make an impact. He's got a v good touch too.
-
He did get wide-right a few times yesterday when in possession, took on and ran at the full backs etc - not sure if that's what pards instructed him to do, but he looked very capable.
-
It's amazing, 1 win and we're getting the calculators out working out what we need to get top 6, and 1 defeat and we're going down FWIW - after our slow start - i think top half mid table, with a strong finish to this season - letting us start next season with some momentum. Anything other than that will constitute a poor season IMO.
-
Personally i thought he put in a good shift yesterday, but it's glaringly obvious that he's lacking confidence and even fitness IMO. If you give him the service (which is the key!!!) then he will score bags of goals at this level. Heck...he was scoring in the champions league this time last year, he's good enough to be a regular for us. At the moment our attack is a bit lop-sided and unbalanced, players like Saga do not benefit from the long ball game but once we start injecting a bit of pace and width into our game, he'll come good. Name me a better striker with a similar pedigree we could get if he goes? No one imo - we're lucky to still have him, so let's bloody well support him.
-
who gives a ****, seriously? we won - end of.
-
and the one against Northampton (ok in the cup but still..) i think he's lost his argument now.
-
Well i was there and appreciated what i saw from the lads. The first win was never going to be pretty, it just needed to be job done and we did it. we were never going to thrash them today, the confidence isn't there for that (yet).
-
lol @ portsmouth... and even more lol @ them for letting Nugent go, who scored two for burnley today! excellent job.
-
cracking attendance today, 19,971 i think. good stuff.
