  1. Rudi Skacel! He signed on the pitch. We even got him a wonky wodden table to sit at.
  2. Everyone thinks they need more/can do better. I'm sure West Ham fans will raise you to that...
  3. Yeah, something afoot I reckon. Only 48hrs to find out.
  4. He did! Worth noting that he did play with Dusan at Twente.
  5. Virgo????? That's going back a bit!
  6. He actually has his own brand ffs.
  7. I cannot get into my head how people will sit at home, and make transfer rumours up on twitter. I mean, what makes you want to do that? I can think of a lot more things I could be doing if I was bored one evening at home. Incognito mode...
  8. Standard West Ham. They've also just had a bid rejected for Tom Cairney at Fulham. Their owners had some unsavoury contact with some fans last week (regarding their lack of investment). Low and behold they are now shouting from the rooftops about any player. It's all just to appease the fans and to make it look like they're trying and that they have money, but I don’t expect anything to happen, apart from maybe a loan on the last day. Their fans have real issues with their owners. I'm glad we don't have them running our joint.
  9. Lol. A lot of the stuff DT posts should probably stay in his head.
  10. That's good news, obviously still a few weeks away, but back in time for our crunch fixtures you'd have to say. Lots of options now, we just need to use them right...
  11. This isn't happening.
  12. Sometimes people should take a few seconds to think before they hit post.
  13. I love seeing Jay play like this, looks like the player he was with us in his 2nd season. Been a long time since we can say that.
  14. Whenever I see Nyom play it gives me great confidence that I, too, could become a top level footballer.
  15. I hope we don't get an early goal, weird to say, but it'll just threaten him to spend the rest of the game telling us to stay behind the ball.
  16. Thought the first half was decent, we could and probably should have put them out of sight in the first 30 mins. 2nd half was durge though, trying to hold on for a 1-0 against a depleted Watford side at home is depressing. Retreat, retreat, retreat. I think that's what us fans find frustrating, hopefully with a bit of pace in the side we won't get stuck so deep and will have an outlet. He does love defending a lead though, no matter how slim. Onto the 5th round, amazingly.
  17. He's going to Sunderland.
  18. time for our resident airport arrivals mole to pop up...
  19. I'm fed up with people that moan about the people who are moaning, and now i'm moaning about the people who moan about the people who are moaning FFS?
  20. Can't say I know much about him, but what we have needed for about 18 months is someone with presence up top. He clearly will bring that, adding height to the spine of the team was well needed. Let's get some pace in and around him and we may start heading in the right direction. Generally It doesn't seem as if Monaco fans have a bad word to really say about him, claim he's good in the air, not amazing on the floor, but will always give 100%.

    Sturridge

He's gone on a worse scoring-blank than long! I think his last goal came at the start of 2016 for WBA! An example of a player who let it all go to his head.
  22. Not sure I know a set of fans who like that bloke, irritating self-important idiot.
  23. That's not going to effect the game though?
  24. If you play one up top, I'd think a target man is exactly what you want? He's probably not an out and out target man per-say, but I will bet you his ability in the air will bring the other attacking players into the game more (and thus open more space). Look at Crouch, Benteke, Okaka, Vokes, Barnes - not great players at all, but they still effect a game because of their presence.
  25. Just having some threat in the air will help I think, given our lack of any physical presence up top we'll probably be pleasantly surprised by even average hold-up ability!
