  1. Even though we've all known this will happen, it still kind of hits you where it hurts. I remember watching him on his debut against WHU in that pre-season friendly, full of optimism and hope with a young team and 2 dutch guys. He didn't look out of place what so ever in that game, but it's just a shame that the club as a whole didn't really create a decent environment for him that season. Pardew has to take some credit as well, he sat him down and told him what's best for him, he could have gone that pre-season. Thankfully he didn't, and we got to see the growth and development of one of the best central midfield players to ever don the red and white stripes. Kind of fitting that I was there for his final game too, and when he walked off injured, I think most of us knew that was that. Seems quite apt. for him to leaving 2 Dutchman behind, after being signed by 2 Dutchman 7 years ago. I hold no grudge and I have no bitterness what so ever. He is joining one of the biggest, if not the biggest clubs in world football and getting a massive pay rise to boot. He deserves it. Au revoir Morgan - thanks for the memories.
  2. Looks like we already have.
  3. Lol @ Spurs fans saying ''we can move on now'' You were never in the race you idiots.
  4. They'll still get Ramos I reckon, they seemingly have the pull to get anyone from anywhere.
  5. BBC Sport ‏@BBCSport 1m1 minute ago Morgan Schneiderlin is currently having a medical at Manchester United. More to follow. #mufc
  6. It clearly isn't, let's not start the sour grapes. Man Utd aren't going to part with £25m for a bench player. He'll start in their midfield.
  7. Totally agree. He's given us everything, he deserves this move. What a team they will have, complete Galactio's. What a time for Morgan to move to them! Couldn't be more pleased for him tbh.
  8. Looks like we've had a bit of a domino effect today. Morgan is done and dusted, and I suspect this is as well.
  9. The Man Utd press photographer: Morgan Schneiderlin arrived into Carrington five-minutes after Bastian Schweinsteiger this evening. Medical done, now a #MUFC player.
  10. James Robson ‏@JamesRobsonMEN 6m6 minutes ago United have agreed a deal for Schneiderlin. Medical already taken place
  11. More... AFCPressWatch™ ‏@AFCPressWatch 2h2 hours ago Looks like #MUFC have also agreed a fee with #Saintsfc tonight for Morgan Schneiderlin. Deal could also be concluded by Tues.
  12. Sound like this is done and dusted. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-agree-morgan-schneiderlin-9641501
  13. Chris Young ‏@YoungSunEcho 9h9 hours ago Jordy Clasie on his way to Southampton. However, like van Ginkel, told Advocaat is looking for a more attack-minded centre-mid #safc
  14. They're going all 'galactico'' on us. Was surprised to learn that Bastian (I'm not attempting his 2nd name..) only made 15 starts last seaosn.
  15. But you've never, ever, ever seen him play - so how can you come to that conclusion?
  16. Inside The SPFL ‏@AgentScotland Jul 9 Swansea and Southampton have both made contact with Celtic about Van Dijk, both had positive talks with club but no official bid offered yet
  17. Forty Nine Million?! That FFP is working wonders. Depay is a better player, he only cost £23m. British Players are so pointlessly overpriced.
  18. I imagine there are a few clauses in that, which will bump it up a bit. But that really is a snip, when you consider someone like Rodwell set Sunderland back £12m last summer. Sounds like this is now moving very, very fast though. Going by the rate it's going, I'd say we could see an announcement early next week.
  19. I don't think you can really class Crook as a journalist.
  20. I'm amazed at how either he, or his ''wife'' seems to be so connected to every, single, club in the world. Impressive.
  21. He's quality tbh. We could do a hell of a lot worse, would be a big investment as he'd be £14-15m
  22. StekelenBORG
  23. Yeah, building so much for the future that he was checking out other clubs in his last 6 months. If that isn't building for the future, I don't know what is. Enjoy supporting Arsenal/Man Utd next season, they're welcome to your looney tunes rants.
  24. They'll have a hell of a lot of options if he signs, best midfield they've had in a long time. Hopefully he signs as a start though, and not just someone who will be on t he bench.
  25. So, are we close to any signings?
